The easiest way to look at inconjuncts (quincunxes) is aspects of adjustment. The two signs have little or nothing in common, so every time the two planets interact between you and your s.o., adjustments must be made on both sides. This is not necessarily bad, mind you....I've seen relationships grow very close over the years because the people were both wiling to adjust, adapt, compromise. But it CAN be difficult, especially in the beginnings, because the differences are sometimes so far apart it is almost like they speak different languages where the inconjunct planets are concerned.

Moon inconjunct Moon is a particularly interesting one. Among other things, your Moon is what makes you feel secure, comfortable; and it is also how you typically express your feelings....as well as some day to day rhythms you each have that you take for granted. Sometimes this means your day to day habits are out of synch; it can also mean that each of you has difficulty understanding what it takes to make the other person secure and comfortable.

Of course, there can be a lot to modify the above. If you have good aspects to his Moon otherwise, and he has good aspects to your Moon, these other planets will be there to make the adjustments relatively painless. You can draw upon them to help each of you to learn about the differences, and these differences then only serve to bring you two closer together.
