So I finally finished writing out 8-count charts (my coworkers think I'm REALLY nuts now) and settled down to start actually doing choreography for this little solo.
I thought, after a half hour of work, to take a break, see how far I'd gotten.
36 seconds.
...I will go insane by the end of this week, when I hope to have this done. If I'm loopier than normal tomorrow, here's the reason.

Wed, September 10, 2008 - 6:40 AMHeh… I don't get bogged down in time increments. Too much pressure.
What I'm having trouble with is when something works out fine on paper, works out fine by myself in my own living room, and then completely falls apart when I go to my mom's and try to show her. Then I have to try to come up with a solution on the spot – which I'm not so great at. She tries to help, which is darn cute but terribly not helpful when I already have something in ming.
Luckily we can already practice the first half of the song, before the falling apart issue rears its ugly head.
And then I still need to finish… 3? costume pieces.
