Funny lil' story:

yes, I had a discussion with my 13 yr old daughter late last night, and she asked why I wasnt normal?
I asked her to define Normal: nothing came back, but a "ahhh, you know... normal"
then I said "nope, dont know what your referring too, I am normal in my eyes and my heart, what do you want June Cleaver?" I really dont think you would like that.

I said would you rather me not spin fire?, OR worse, not allow you to spin fire?
(She and I are members of Controlled Burn)
Oh and She is ATTENDING this years BM Wed-Sun.(After months of me saying NOT Yet,) she used the "but I want to perform at your wedding" , so I figured I'll just kinda kick back on that arguement, till she gets back to default...goes through decomp. I'll ask her again to define "Normal".

At one point I asked her what was so Un-Normal about our lives...she says because all we do is plan for the burn...
I said in what ways is it different from how you grew up for the last 13 yrs "before" I went to BM, she said it isnt much different, that I was always having art projects and costume making round the house.
I said there you are...definition of Normal. How we have always lived, but now with the idea of others like me...I have tons of great friends to share the bounties of all the projects!
We just bought a house, and I think that when I said "cool we can set up the geodesic domes in back", she said "Mom dont set two giant Boobs in our back yard! I told her rest assured I wouldnt use the Booby covers that I would make default covers for them(dont wanna freak out my neighbors now do I)? hehehe
