Great, I always loved those album covers of Santana and Miles's Bitches Brew, I wondered who did them. They guy can really put the psychedelic experience on canvas!

Wow, where do I begin? This is my field of study, and I have learned to appreciate many artists and styles. I don't necessarily favor something over another, but have phases - latelely I've been interested by Georgia O'Keeffe because of the simple lines and the rich colors, and it's not necessarily the flower paintings that are my favorites (O'Keeffe denied that the flowers were representations of female genetalia by the way). My interest is the way she painted the New Mexico landscape, in part because it is so foreign to me. I also read two biographies about the artist, and it always helps when you know about the artist's personality and personal history to add another dimension to the art.

I do like Baroque, a lot of people hate that stuff because it's overdone. One of my favorite works is The Ecstasy of St. Teresa by Bernini, I just love it and if I get to see it (live) before my life is over I'll be happy. (hmm, idea for a new thread...)

Thanks Holden for this question, good one.
