Well, tonight I went to the hall to clean up after a weekend workshop with Tamra-henna and our Saturday evening show. Everything seemed so quiet - what a flurry of emotions. Sadness that everyone was gone, relief that I could go home and sit quiet after it all... This was my first time organizing a workshop, and Tamra-henna made it a wonderful experience. She was very kind, professional, and has a very effective method of teaching both technique and choreography.
The turn-out was very good for both the workshop and accompanying show - I want to thank everyone who attended. You all made this a very positive and memorable experience for me.
Thank you, Tamra-henna!

Mon, May 14, 2007 - 6:38 PMMiz Adishakti, girlene, you sure know how to put on a workshop! Many, many thanks for all your effort and hard work. I hope you slept all day today!
And Tamra-Henna, thank you for being such a marvelous teacher! It was really one of the best workshops I've ever attended. You really break things down clearly, yet know how to keep the class moving and on track. And your material is wonderful.
Oh, and I can't say I've ever had tears in my eyes after a raks assaya number before. Just gorgeous dancing; thank you so much for sharing it with us.
