are you a bat or a frog person?

i don't know if anyone here has spent time in the country to get to know these creatures. I have sat out at night not far from a tall outdoor lamp and watched bats swoop through the cloud of bugs like a vacuum cleaner. That is fun to watch.

And frogs at night sing great choral works for you. . .in multi part harmonies. It is riveting, uh. . .so to speak.

I guess I am more of a frog person. They are so cute and buddha like. . .plus they live near and in water. i would like to do that!

How about you?

BOTH! My french bulldog is also known as a "frog dog" and she's got "bat" ears. =^.^=

I don't have much experience with bats and I love the sound of frogs (in Vietnam they're insanely loud).

I have a fondness for bats. But also tadpoles...used to catch them (and tiny teeny baby frogs) in a pond near my grandma's house when I was a kid. Kept them in jars with love but they would always die within days - didn't know I had to feed them and the jar was probably not properly aerated. Poor dears...I was such a little savage.
