Sat, September 15, 2007 - 10:08 AMI hate when they colorize them. Some films are just meant to be seen in the original B&W. -

Re: black and white movies
Sun, September 30, 2007 - 10:13 AMB&W movie classics are great. I also find some new B&W films are more powerful because they are B&W. I would never watch a colorized version of "To Kill a Mockingbird.” This was filmed in B&W by choice at a time when most feature films were being filmed in color. Most sculptures are also monochromatic by nature and by the artist’s choice…I can’t imagine anyone even suggesting painting Michelangelo’s David in realistic colors…oh my God! Film is an art form. Don’t alter the artist’s work.
That's my two cents -

Mon, October 1, 2007 - 1:10 AMHay how are you, Hay how are you,
I am watching a recording i made off
the Sundance Channel of a film called
"Soy Cuba" which was filmed on
Infra-red film. This makes for some
very interesting effects in the finished
film.
