Why oh why does technology wait until the most inconvenient moment to go wrong???

Yesterday my main computer decided that it had had enough and went and died on me - not a good thing! The offending machine is being assessed by PC World today and hopefully it will be repaired by the end of the week - fingers crossed that I don't need a new one!

What this does mean is that I cannot access the magazine to continue preparing it for printing until I either get the current computer back or have everything transferred over to a new one. So unless they can fix it in the next couple of days I'm afraid that the magazine may be a little late.

If you sent me an email in the last 4/5 days whilst I was away then unfortunately your email is downloaded to the broken PC and I cannot access it, so if you require an answer right now it is probably best to send it again as I can at least access any new emails online.

I'm really sorry about this - we rely so much on technology these days but you only realise just how much when things go wrong!
