My Tarot card of the month for June I chose "The World" and posted it here June 1st on my website:
www.tarotofthepomegranate.com/gal...html
June 21st is the day of Midsummer's eve, the Summer Solstice, and the longest day of the year. The World card is the 21st card of the Major Arcana, and the last card of the Major Arcana, indicating the ending and the beginning of one state of being to another, just as the Summer Solstice is the peak of summer The World card is the peak experience, the final acceptance and awakening into one's full self. It is realization and rebirth. May your Summer Solstice experience be one of light, love and celebration this year!
And only a week ago I decided to participate in the Fremont Solstice Parade and so What will I be wearing? A blue veil over my head just like in the World card, and no it wasn't planned that way at all, I just noticed the coincedence now! I'll be dancing with Delilah's bellydancer's and we're all in shades of blue and turquoise. It'll be quite beautiful as we're representing water, and my charachter is a "wavelette" hence the blue veil over myself.
I will take this as a good sign. It is Nini's first birthday on the official Solstice day, Sunday the 21st, and she will of course be at the parade with her papa! The World card is also the 21st card of the Major Arcana, and the last card of the Major Arcana of the Tarot. My daughter's birthday could not be more auspicious!
