For the month of September I chose The Hermit of the Tarot to represent our leaving the outward physical summer months and turning gradually inward towards the winter months ahead.
"The leaves start to turn vivid colors and we watch as the sun grows dimmer, the days cooler and the nights longer. The last vestiges of summer drift away and we begin to turn inward again not just physically but mentally. It's time to nourish ourselves with our new growth and enlightenment gathered during the months of the sun and remember our inner selves. The Hermit turns inward on their journey, looking at the year past and the times that have been and the new lessons learned, and what still needs to be learned. It is just the beginning of the journey inward as the season turns inward with us, gradually withdrawing. Move gracefully with the seasons."
