just thought i might throw a little update out there...
the move is made, and although things were unsettled for a while and a couple of things didn't pan out, i ended up with things that were much better - even though it was nerve-wracking and there's *still* a lot of things to deal with, lol...
the job is still in the works. i still have the two options, but i just went through an interview for the "harder to start/more secure" position, and it's looking good. if it doesn't work out, there's still plan B, and the way things have worked out here, it'll definitely be enough to get by on.
relationship...ugh. it was within my control, although it didn't feel like it...there were a couple of compatibility issues that came up within two weeks of us meeting that just were unworkable. however, i did have a reading done here after he and i parted ways, and interestingly enough, the King of Cups came up in that reading as well, as something coming in the near(-ish) future.
funny thing is, i recently met up with an old friend...we'd had kind of a thing in the past but neither one of us were in a position to make much of a relationship out of it. he's still pretty far from where i am, but i drove up to hang out and things felt...different.
huh. i'm not mistaken about the energy, but i might be mistaken about the reasonableness of more seriousness someday...and he's not in a real certain place in his life right now. *sigh* back to the "i've sworn off relationships for a while."
