I don't know of any bellydance vendors who sell tribal-y pierced navel jewelry... the only thing I could come up with is maybe finding some organic balls for your regular metal barbell. A lot of piercing shops will have them, as will many hippie/alternative shops, and of course online. My favorite websites are www.bodyartforms.com and www.bodyjewelleryshop.com.

I guess you could also play around with attaching a small kuchi pendant to your regular navel jewelry - I would imagine you could do this by removing the bottom ball, putting the pendant on the barbell then re-attaching the ball - but I don't know if I would try it myself because navel piercings can be so finicky and I wouldn't want to risk migration/rejection.

I've got one that I really love that I found at my local flea market...it's three suns, very tribal looking...in decreasing size as they go down...each one is attached so that they dangle and it makes a wonderful dance piece, cuz it moves...

I've also seen some Celtic knot dangles that would look good for tribal style...you just have to check around...

I've found the markets and festivals are some of the best places to find these sorts of things...they're much more varied that ones you'll find in a shop...

I've also attached pieces from broken jewelry to my standard barbell...I just make sure it has a small ring at the top so that I can slide it over the bar and then just pop it in and...there you go!!! It's even fun to attach the small fairy bells to the end of them so that you have a bit of jingle when you wiggle...:-D
