HI all, I am just so excited....I got my artwork back last night and it was just how I saw it in my mind and am getting my first tattoo tonite. I have spent almost 3 years deciding on it and getting my nerve up (massively needle phobic here) but I am so excited, I can barely sit at work and get anything done. I just had to share this with someone as no one at work is tattooed and it just won't stay containd today. Only 8 hours to go.

I know how exciting that first tattoo can be. The first time it is the exitement of doing something rebellious combined with the pain anxiety.
WHen you realize it is not that painfull at all the second time is almost orgasmic with exitement over the new art.
I am thinking about my third one now, and I get tickles in my tummy about it. I have the design in my head it is rather large, a quarter sleeve, flowery, draping over my left shoulder into a fairie born out of a bleedinheartflower. The ideas are here, just saving up the monies.
Maybe by the end of this year. Somehow I like to have all my tattooes/piercing done in the winter so they are nicely healed up to show off in the summer. I don t know I am just weird this way. -

PLEASE post photos...the entire experience of planning, scheduling and then getting and enjoying your ink will be intoxicating...enjoy it all...the pain you'll survive IF you feel any at all...
I'm heading back to finish my last tattoo this Friday so it seems that we're all going to be more beautiful in a matter of days!!!

But it just feels so good and right and I am not even worrying about whether it will hurt. My fiance is getting his first ink tonite too, but I am definitely getting mine done first, cause if he even flinches, I would probably panic. Five and a half hours to go!!!

Getting my nose pierced was another story... worth it, though. -

That was it exactly, as it did not look like a needle, I managed to stay calm and after the first ten minutes, I was fine. I posted a pic, can't see the colors really well yet, but I am so pleased :) And it was such a positive experience, I know I will be doing more. -
