are a pain in my ass!
I was wondering what kind of hoop is the best for a septum peircing. I bought a segment ring about a week ago to replace the retainer I was pierced with, but I haven't been able to get the segment back in, not once!!

Re: segment rings...
Tue, April 22, 2008 - 11:53 PMI really love my segment ring now that I'm used to putting it in all of the time. It's alot easier to do with short nails, in front of a mirror. Circular barbells are the easiest to remove and put back yourself IMO, but I didn't like mine because it would always end up sitting kinda funny and look weird. Captive bead rings are the hardest for me to do, and I always had the feeling that the single ball looked like a lonely silver booger if I didn't hide it. If you get another segment ring, have your piercer open it up a bit with some ring openers, and make sure its not so tight that you cant get the little piece back in. -
