We're talking traditional alchemical art work that's done on days when planets are properly aspected, and using inks corresponding with different elements.
Yeah I'm one of those new age loonies. Don't judge me.
So any way, I was wondering if dragon's blood is ever actually used in tattoo ink. No not litteral blood, but rather a potent, non toxic red resin that's derived from several plants. That'd be perfect! I want to get a big salamander tattoo, on a mars day, with some serious fire stuff going down in the cosmos, the only thing is I would want inks that represent fire principles as well. If that particular substance isn't used in tattooing, what kind of dyes can I request from a tattoo artist that are more natural and I can research what substances are they involve?
Would I even be able to find a tattoo artist that'd put up with, let alone appreciate the ritual aspect to this magnitude? I live in LA, I'm guessing if someone could do this, they'd live in this city.
Any help, thoughts, whatever much appreciated.
