What: Rhythm's of Spring Annual Festival
When: March 10-12
Where: Directions given at Registration
Rhythm's of Spring is traditionally a drum and dance festival that celebrates the quickening rhythms of the Earth as spring approaches. It's about settling your spirit long enough to examine your personal rhythms, to connect to those energies, and those around you. Above all it is about fellowship, joy, and the celebration of the coming spring. This is a camping weekend. Port-a-potties and hot showers are available but no electricity in the camping area. Directions to the camping area for this event will be given when you pay your registration fee and driving time will be approximately 2 hours.
Spring is coming, and after these recent dark times, we could all use sometime outside to blow the winds of change in around us. Everyone is welcome to join us as we journey back to Circle Star Retreat for our seventh Rhythms of Spring! We will have the whole of Circle Star Retreat to ourselves for a beautiful weekend of Spring fever, spiritual questing and magick.
We will be focusing on developing our new area that has been generously provided to us by the owners of CSR. Come and help us settle in to our new home. We will make wind chimes to fill Red Moon Grove with sounds. Bring tools and wear appropriate clothing to do some work if you want to participate.
The main ritual will focus on dedicating Red Moon Gove and strengthen our connection to the land. Betwixt & Between's dance troupe: Syrn's of the Mist will perform to further the bond between the land and our community.
Remember to bring your camping gear, DRUMS, what ever food you want to eat, and firewood. We'll provide the coffee. A couple things to share with the feast and your friends. Whip Cream, chocolate syrup, strawberries and any tasty fun treat you wish to share. Sharing is good. Magickal stones, beads, feathers, durable outdoor art, to help bring the magick to CSR, and to gift to the fairies.
Also feel free to bring toys, body paints, costumes, funny hats, kites, toy air planes, yo-yo's, hoola hoops, jump ropes, bubbles, body glitter, and anything else that will add to your delightful weekend, and stir your magickal child within.
This is a low maintenance festival intended to help us shed some of The stresses of the world outside CSR! Even if you can only come out for the day on Saturday, come out, join us and escape the mundane for just a little while.

Circle Star Retreat has beautiful trails; our favorite is the Witch's Walk. Through out the property you will find art, statuary, magickal hide a ways, and secrets that will delight you. The caretakers of this dream have created a magickal retreat to sooth the weariest of souls. There are plenty of little spots to explore for the curious at heart. Feel free to bring something precious to you to leave behind. We suggest a stone, a coin, a piece of jewelry, a part of yourself.
