Anyones thoughts on Modern Ghawazee style? Like the style of Aida Nour? Can you still call it Ghawazee, if it's not like the original (Banat Mazin Style). Would you consider Aida's Ghawazee more like the Sombati/ Sumbati/ Soubati (spelling) style? Does any one have info. on Ghawazee Sombati style? Doesn't seem to be a lot of info. I would like to learn more.

Thu, May 10, 2007 - 4:46 AMThanks Dahab! Heres an Aida Nour Ghawazee Choreography performed by Safir Habibi on youtube. I don't have this Aida Choreogrpahy on DVD. But there are some moves that Aida does in the videos that I have seen in her Ghawazee performances. This one does not resemble Ghawazee at all. The music is not the typical Ghawazee music.
