Are Aries and Tauruses (Taurians?) compatible at all?
I met a Taurus this past weekend and we connected very well and he was very empathic and understood things that I didn't say out loud but I guess my body language did.

Re: Aries and Taurus?
Thu, June 1, 2006 - 12:16 AMmy boyfriend of 2 years is a taurus, and I love him a lot. I feel like he weighs me down sometimes, but he's way better inside than me and I really need the stability he brings from being a lot more grounded. he's not as stubborn as me, but he has a libra moon. it could work for you :) -

ha, that's just what a taurus woul dwant you to think, that they are way better inside than you are. or perhaps that's the typical aries interpretation of it. either way, it's a mix i don't condone.

Re: Aries and Taurus?
Mon, December 1, 2008 - 5:22 PMUnfortunately, I don't get to meet a lot of Taurus people (let alone any other sign with the exception of Virgoes), but every single one that I've met, I absolutely enjoyed and felt instantly comfortable with.
I think they have great senses of humor and they're very down-to-earth and laidback. One of my good friends is a Taurus.

Thu, June 1, 2006 - 11:00 AMMy sun is Aries, but of course I'm made of many other parts. I don't get on well with Taurus males, females I get along fantastic with.
It would probably be best to just exploxe the new relationship/friendship and find out.
Have you had a chance to look at their chart -

Re: Aries and Taurus?
Fri, June 2, 2006 - 12:57 AMBooks will likely tell you that the match is not one of the better ones, but that really doesn't mean much in my opinion. I stopped having much faith in relationship astrology unless charts were taken account and whatnot- cuz people are so different and all.
I have always had Tauruses in and out of my life- they have always been the friends that were most different than I. I will say that probably the most intense and sensual sexual experience I had was with a Taurus- but it was also the most damaging experience I had emotionally- so- that is not much help to the question. I get along with Tauruses the least, but find them the most attractive- does that make sense?
ok yes I have some issues there...:0 I'd say handle with care! (but it's worth the experience)

Re: Aries and Taurus?
Sat, June 17, 2006 - 10:50 AMI'm giving the Taurus thing another shot. My new boss is a Taurus. I really like a lot of qualities he has. And what's up with their appetites?? lol, those bulls always want to eat or have a snacky.
I've had a few spats with the future boss, but that was because he tried to date me. He gets all whiny when he does not get his way. I've read great things on business relationships with Aries/Taurus..so I'm really looking forward to that.
I said in a recent post how I want to play matador...I'll say it again..I WANT TO PLAY MATADOR AND TAME THAT BULL!!!
I'll keep you posted on any significant observations.

Re: Aries and Taurus?
Sat, July 8, 2006 - 10:30 AMWell, I have never been with a Taurus until last nite.
And was that a BOMB!
Absolute opposites in the sack and nothing but
miscommunication. -

Re: Aries and Taurus?
Sat, July 8, 2006 - 6:24 PMsorry to hear that Ariesbaby. I guess you were able to communicate well enough to get in the sack, tho!!
...lol....
I'd like to hear more about this sometime if you are inclined to discuss it. -

Re: Aries and Taurus?
Sun, July 9, 2006 - 11:22 AMNo don't know anymore about her chart other than
she was a Taurus.
Well, the attraction was there and she asked me to
tell her what I would do to her. So I told her and
she said come on over to her hotel.
Well, guess she needs to be more careful what
she wishes for next time. Either that or do a little
investigating as to what "rough sex" really means
when someone says that is what they into before
she agrees to it.
She freaked right away, I got the hell out. -

Re: Aries and Taurus?
Sun, July 9, 2006 - 11:27 AMAnd actually that all got me thinking about
the term "literal" and how much it applies
to me, but not so often with others.
Alot of people seem to live in a fantasy in their
minds and that is all they want, the imagery.
I know that, so am very clear I am into the
physical. Very clear.
But when the game was on, she evidently
did not realize how literal I am when I say
what I am going to do.
baah, whatever, was so in a hurry to get out
when she did her 180 spin that I even left
some toys at her hotel. -

Woo-hoo..another fine Aries trait, we've go to be out there doing it, getting things done, being first to know what something is like.
Git'er Done.

In defense of your Bull, Eva. I *am* a Taurus (by less than 1 degree) but I don't fit the Taurus profile well at all, except for a few things of a sexual nature and my incredible fondness for naps. With my A/T cusp, Venus Aries and Sag. Mars...I'm more "Aries" than a lot of actual Sun-sign Aries I meet.
My point is... it's IMPOSSIBLE to generalize this compatability thing by comparing two Sun signs alone!
Impossible, impossible, IMPOSSIBLE!

Re: Aries and Taurus?
Sun, July 9, 2006 - 12:18 PMLMMFAO!!
oh man....sorry to hear this Ariesbaby. Please know that I am not laughing at you, but *with* you ...all the way.
You have to admit it is kind of funny. Especially reading about that while looking at your icon pic with you all in serious battle gear. You didn't show up like that did you?
*chuckles*
Yeah...Tauruses are not really known to be into rough sex. Usually they are described as being far more into romantic, sweet, slow kind of sex. I have to admit that my experience with a Taurus was a memorable experience...although it was because I was attached to him...for him...it was just a good f***. Unfortunately.
I like rough sex too. But I am not really good at it nor am I experienced. I would love to be tied up to a bed and ravaged someday by some seriously sexy and dominating man. -
-
Re: Aries and Taurus?
Sun, July 9, 2006 - 1:31 PMI was in serious battle gear armed to the teeth (told her
this to begin with)
What it comes down to, is she wanted the fantasy of the
visual, but wanted me to *make love* to her.
omfg, I don't even know this woman! How can I make
love to her?
When she said it was too much and "can't we try something
else?" "Let's go talk and have dinner.
I said uh no, your ad said you were in town for the weekend
and looking for no string attached sex and had no limits.
Guh bye woman!

Sun, July 9, 2006 - 1:40 PM"I would love to be tied up to a bed and ravaged someday by some seriously sexy and dominating man."
I am sure you will get your wish someday, but just know, it is so more thrillling
for a woman to be dominating to another woman then a man to a woman.
Well, in my world anyhoo heh
Cheers, going to my friends to hang then go to the drive in later to watch
The Devil Wears Prada. Great book, great cast picked to play the chars
you ask me.

Re: Aries and Taurus?
Sun, July 9, 2006 - 5:19 PMI think being dominated by a woman would be just as interesting....though I think somehow I would be more inclined to fight her and prove myself to be the alpha female!!!! haHA!!!
you remind me of the lead singer in the band that was featured in the movie Bandits. Have you seen it? IF you haven't, you should!!! I should see/read The Devil Wears Prada. -

Re: Aries and Taurus?
Mon, July 10, 2006 - 10:01 PMhey Melinda....care to expand on your Taurus expierience? I read what you said and now I am even more curious.
I fooled around with a Taurus, and I think he was pretty agressive, but it's all so fucking blurry because I was to drunk off captain morgans. Could be that in my dillusional state it was better then it actually was.
Dang. That's why I'm not drinking like a crazy party animal for a while. -

Re: Aries and Taurus?
Thu, August 17, 2006 - 7:00 PMMy experience is that they really like to tell you about the details of their detailed, meticulous plans to do things in the future, and that they can get frustrated by Aries' impulsiveness, or pissed off when that impulsiveness results in spontaneous, unplanned fun. And I find that Taurean women (one of my cousins, a few others I've known quite well) sometimes creep me out in casual social situations because their activities can seem SO painstakingly premeditated...I can't really enjoy being that cerebral about having fun, you know? That's my main conflict with that energy when it's a person's sun, although I tend to find it find it endearing in the male version...maybe because they're often socialized to be more up front, more validated, for being straight up bullish, which can be kind of hot. -

Tue, May 13, 2008 - 9:53 PMWell, all the Taurus people I've known so far, I get along with very well. I think they have a really good sense of humor and are pretty laid back. I'm not sure how well an Aries female and Taurus male would work, but I think it's definitely worth a shot. And speaking of Taurus men, I have a serious crush on Eric Balfour, who's a Taurus. He looks soooo sensual. I just wanna eat him up. -
-
Re: Aries and Taurus?
Tue, May 13, 2008 - 10:25 PMThe Taurus folks that I have known have all had very good senses of humor and had a good appreciation for the finer things in life. But some how things just never "clicked" for us. And I am not kidding when I say that every single Taurus that I have known has
been a person who brags and tries to make themselves look good, even if it is by telling a lie or ten. That includes my own father!
I guess that it depends on the Taurus~

Re: Aries and Taurus?
Sat, June 7, 2008 - 4:02 AMI'm a taurus female, with a libra moon and oh oh a VENUS in ARIES!!! (my ticket into the tribe ;) ) Many of my close friendships and relationships have been with Aries, probably cuz of the venus in aries in my chart. If you guys have any questions i can try to answer from the taurus side... i do have a lot of aries traits too so i relate to yall well. Yah and about our apetites we can eat like no other sign, never get between a hungry taurus and their food. :) -

Re: Aries and Taurus?
Wed, June 11, 2008 - 7:58 AMHaha...to the rough bedroom activity comment.
Most Taurii that I've known don't get very...erm 'kinky' if that's what you want to call it. They have their flavor and that's what they stick with.
Usually takes other strong influences for them to try new, fun things in the bedroom.
This coming from a taurus sun, venus aries. -

Re: Aries and Taurus?
Thu, November 27, 2008 - 10:17 PMAries/Taurus Cusp here with Venus in Gemini, My longest relationship to date was with one hell of an Aries women and believe me when i say this guys, ALL WOMEN no matter what sign CRAVE, DESIRE, OR LUST to be DOMINATED.
GIVE HER THE LOOK,
PULL HER FUCKIN HAIR, HARD!
GO IN FOR A KISS, WHILE PULLING HER LOWER LIP WITH YOUR TEETH.
i could go on but my Venus is in Gemini is quite content with teasing.
On a more real note, you want some pretty intense sex, Then Scorpios and bondage are the thing for you.

Re: Aries and Taurus?
Thu, November 27, 2008 - 11:05 PMI'm not quite sure, though my best friend is an Aries (I'm a Taurus - Moon in Aries) and my mom is an Aries also.
I don't really know if you can truly just base it on the sun sign, but since aries and taurus and so close to eachother, chances of person having the mercury in the (p)receding sign will make good chances of communication as well as the venus and such.
but, theres optimism and chance in everything...i'd try it.
yuh know never know. =]

Re: Aries and Taurus?
Thu, January 1, 2009 - 1:58 PMhi folks im a taurus.
I would say 75% of all my friends are aries.
Basically, aries are approachable, jolly, talkative, philanthropic and accepting and trusting.
A normal conflict between taurs and aries is the taurens being a homebody and too cautious.
I love action and martial arts and music and having a good laugh. I can generally get allt his from an aries.
Aries women are very refreshing to know. When most women are single they go all unsexy, carry emotional baggage and get overly uptight when a man is around.
An aries woman is more forward thinking and when they are sinlge, they go off looking for another lover with no silly nonsense thats evident with cancerian women (can't stand them)
Conclusion - you aries rule -

I've had two Aries girlfriends and at first they were WHOA!
Both relationships didn't last longer than a fortnight as that "butting of wills" you mention really did happen.
In two weeks, went from passionate sex, to bitter enemies.
If I go for an Aries woman in future, it needs to be a fling.
