Since some of us on here are Aries moons

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Famous People with Moon in Aries: Marlon Brando, Whitney Houston, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Stevie Wonder, Al Capone, Salvador Dali, Mark Twain, Cate Blanchette, Angelina Jolie
Personality Profile:
Those with the Moon in Aries have a fiery heart that always knows Spring will come again, no matter how things appear. And while they do feel intensely, this keeps them from lingering too long in an emotional mood. The Aries Moon is tempestuous, courageous and a great lover of personal freedom.
The Aries Moon can sense the truth of a matter right away, and grows restless for others to "get it." If they seem pent up, it's only that they're ready for the next big challenge. They'll be most alive if at the edge of trying new things and meeting new people.
They don't mean to harm when they cauterize emotional wounds with a verbal blowtorch rather than apply a soothing balm. Their words might be brusque, but often their medicine is the blinding truth that otherwise would go unsaid. In relationships of all kinds, count on them to keep it real, fresh and honest.
The Moon in Aries has a lit up quality that can make them sought after social companions. They'll be able to jump-start those at low ebb with their shiny charisma. But they'll need stimulation in return, or you'll soon see them looking for the exit. The one thing they don't stand for too long is restrictive or boring situations.
They'll need a romantic partner that won't be easily cowed by their bluster. After a cathartic argument, it'll be time for making up, and then the smoldering passion of the Aries Moon will re-emerge. If you can handle getting singed now and again, it'll likely be an unforgettable time.
    The Aries Moon native’s emotions are often expressed through physical action and experiences. Aries Moon Signs have the reputation of action that can be motivated by "instant gratification”. Aries, relentlessly pursue their desires with the passion and energy of impatience. They want it, and they want it NOW. Boredom and mediocrity just do not cut it in their world. Thus Aries prefer eccentricity in their lives, rather than conventionality.
    Aries Moon signs attract and are attracted to other passionate, physical and active people. Daily routine is not something they relish or fulfill with diligence. Their emotions are fed by their innovative spirit. Impetuous would be an apropos adjective for an Aries native. For the short term, they can become passionately involved with people and projects, but long-term commitments may make them feel imprisoned and at times smothered. Their quick tempers are often ignited by their impatience. As quick as they are to anger, they are just as quick to forget.
    Aries Moon personalities have sheer determination to reach their goals. They are meant to be masters of their own success or failure in life. However, their emotional security is masked to the outside world. On the surface, an Aries Moon may appear aggressive and somewhat self-serving, but this is a cover-up for real vulnerability and insecurity. Aries talk is tougher than their walk. When dealing with the aggressive Ram remember that within every Aries Moon sign there is a gentle lamb.
    Due to its Fire Sign aspect, Aries Moon signs natives may not be as intuitive as other signs. But Aries does has an advantage over the other signs. Mars is the ruler of Aries and is the god of animal husbandry. As a result the Aries Moon native often possesses an ability to understand and heal the animal kingdom. In return, the animal kingdom offers the Aries Moon native the benefits of “soothing the savage beast” within. It is a reciprocal relationship. Animals usually play a prominent role in the life of Aries Moon natives.
    Famous Aries Moon women: Lauren Bacall, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ellen DeGeneres, Grace Jones, Holly Hunter, Heather Locklear, Jennifer Lopez, Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis, Anne Rice, George Sand, Lily Tomlin, Virginia Woolf.
    Famous Aries Moon Sign men: Louis Armstrong, Kevin Bacon, Antonio Banderas, Leonard Bernstein, Marlon Brando, George Burns, Salvador Dali, Bob Fosse, Galilei Galileo, Jerry Garcia, Bill Gates, Arlo Guthrie, Rex Harrison, Immanuel Kant, John Lithgow, Bill Moyers, Mark Twain, Malcolm X.
      I have my moon in aries, sun in cancer, and libra rising. The decription below fits me to a T however I find those sort of emotions easy to express because I have this need for harmony but my sun sign and moon sign sometimes keep me going from one extreme to another. Do you have any insight? Because there are times that I feel completely balanced which is when I feel best at the same time there are times when I have the overwhelming desire to express these intense emotions that will make me burst if they are not. These emotional outburst don't really work well with my libra rising.
      Moon in Aries comes off very strong. It is a very strong Moon position.
      Your Moon is your whole emotional armature and inner self and it can be argued that it is even more your real self than your Sun sign that is considered in some as a gift at birth for your ego to wear and grow into.
      It also meakes sense that you would be attracted to an Aries male because the Moon/Sun meeting in two charts makes you feel in sync right away. though there couls also be past life stuff operative in your case (just an intuitive guess).
        Was that meant for me Eniad?
        If so, yes I felt something was in sync between the both of us. Then when I found out how to read my natal chart & his. I found the similarities & wasn't surprised. As far as past life stuff goes I sometimes think about that & the whole concept is very intriguing to me.
          Yes, for you
          Past lives are usually not that glamorous and it is not necessary to relive yours since your present personality is pretty much the sum of what you intend to work on this time around.
          The past life connection is no big deal. We tend to run in packs – friends, family, lovers, bosses - anyway so anyone that you feel instant rapport is probably a blast from the past
          Moon in Aries is a good strong foundation for a personality but it is a little prosaic but with your brand new Sun in Scorpio, comes a pair of antenna for pluming the depths as a birthday gift. Enjoy!
            Eniad,
            I've heard a few people here say that your moon sign is most like who you are, and people go back and forth about the importance of the rising sign and saying that that's just a mask of your personality.
            How come if either of those is true, I don't identify or act at all like my Capricorn moon, yet I behave and identify and feel very much like a Virgo? I also don't attract or know any Capricorns. If anything I feel like I'm a Virgo first, and an Aries second with a tie somewhere between Gemini and Pisces. I attract and know lots and lots of Virgoes however. They seem to be a prominent sign in my life and we get along like peas in a pod.
    Re: Moon in Aries
    Hi guys I gotta say a bunch of stuff that I have noticed. I think I've noticed something else about astrology that not many other people pick up on too.
    Firstly, even though Aries is one of the most straightforward signs, I am constantly intrigued by them for different reasons.
    The Aries Sun sign is soooooooo different to the Aries moon sign. Aries sun people are very cheerful, friendly, confident and trusting. They are the easiest sun sign to recognise.
    Aries moon sign people are slightly less pleasant. Agressive, hostile, demanding but they are still confident, courageous and will go forward and get things done.
    I've done my own independant research and I believe that there are signs that like other signs but not vice versa.
    My moon is in Capricorn and I attract so many people with Aries signs but I often don't like them..... usually I get the gut feeling as soon as I meet them that they are a piece of work.
    There are some combinations that make an exception - Taurus sun aries moon, aries sun and aries moon, gemini,aquarius and capricon sun with aries moon are balanced enough to cope with.
    I think that Aries moon people really like us Capricorn moon people for reasons I'm still trying to figure out.
    From real life examples I meet a lot of Cancer sun and aries moon and these women love me and let me know about it.
    But I can't stand them!
    I'm sure there are signs that like one more than the other.
    some examples I think I've figured out......
    Librans like Taurens
    Leos like Scorpios
    Sags like Pisces
    Aquariuns like Virgos
    Capricorns like Sagittarians (I always find myCapricorn moon fond of Sagittarian moons for their friendly enthusaism. something I lack with my realistic and cold views on life)
    I reckon I'm onto something here. Any thoughts peeps?
      I agree with the description. People recognise me as an Aries easily. It is an easy sign to pick up and it carries a strong physical signature of primal energy.
      I used to be more associated with my Pisces Tenth House Moon sign earlier but not that much now but the mixture comes out too.
      i get asked very strange question as what I do: writer, psychic, teacher..etc all of which are true.
      Aries Sun are very different from Aries Moon.
      It is a question of temper, though I can get angry, I noticed that, in general, Aries Moon fly into blind rages. The moon, in my opinion, carries the purest most internalised version of a sign. It is there fore the purest instinctual expression of the sign. It therefore makes sense that Aries Moon would fly off the handle.
      I have a friend who is an Aries Moon Capricorn Sun and she does not. She is a very accomplished artist and also managed to obtain a PhD in a different field. A balanced blend.
      As for the strange likings
      Admiring what we are not and seeking a balance?
      Libra and Taurus share Venus and Librans are comforted by Taurus’s dependable energies
      As for the rest:
      Since we cannot be all things, we admire people who are different.
      Cancer is my most disliked sign though I can get along with some females.
      I find the males revolting (sorry if you are not).
        Cancerian men tend to go a bit fat. I'm sure Homer Simpson and Peter Griffin were probably modelled on the male cancerian.
        I thought that the reason I liked Aries a lot was because of Taurens natuarally liking the Aries being more forward and confident than a Taurus ever could be.
        Now I'm wondering if it's because I have a Venus in Aries.... because a lot of Aries women tend to like me a lot too. Hmmmmm
        Aries moon people are incredibly demanding and confident people, but some sun signs tend to go well with it.
        Leo sun Aries moon people tend to be less aggressive and more inclined to show off more and exude more natural confidence. For some guys, the Aries moon can make them very intimidating and menacing and they can be those type of thugs you don't want to meet on the streets. I know some guys with Aries moons who go out getting in fights for the fun of it.
        But Aries sun signs people are more inclined to be comedic, jovial and easy to socialise with. huge difference.
          First off, I am a 24 yr old male cancerian. (im def not fat (if i was, would you talk to me? ;) ), and i try only for you to be revolting haha) My moon is in Aries. Lol. So when i saw this i laughed. hard.
          Eniad-"Cancer is my most disliked sign though I can get along with some females.
          I find the males revolting (sorry if you are not). "
          Hmm... maybe u really just dont understand cancers (took the time). Besides, we arent all the same lols. Maybe cuz they dont give your EGO attention? lols. CANCERS=BEYOND. Many Aries usually only care about how they look to everyone, they want the best, to be the best. Try cutting through your own ego for a change, and use the aries power of empathy. Along with your loyalty to friends/family imo empathy is your best quality, Its egoless. It works for others. Cancers are sensitve, and so much more than what an aries sun might initially be attracted to. Cancer suns arent going to try to wow you atleast initially. Because of my aries moon im more demonstrative and flamboyant than most. Both signs are different, and require different things. I feel this everyday inside.
          ...and so then laughed harder after this...
          red-"Cancerian men tend to go a bit fat. I'm sure Homer Simpson and Peter Griffin were probably modelled on the male cancerian. "
          ROFL! Atleast they have a sense of humor... LOL?... ok... nice viewpoint. considering most of the people in my country are overweight, and they cant all be cancers, lol. Actually the ascendant plays a greater role in a persons appearance than that of the sun. but exalt yourself, its all your good at lol. =P Ill stick up for my cancer baby's anytime, anywhere. mmkay? i do find you aries entertaining ha. love.
          btw my father and my older sister both have aries suns. i would clash with them whenever i had the chance growing up haha. but i love them both. we all just have different purposes. <3
            I didn't feel too bad about writing that because I'm a Taurus.
            Both Taurens and Cancerians have a tendancy to go fat. Michael Moore is a stereotypical fat ugly Taurus.
            But Western Astrology is mainly for peoples characteristics.
            Peoples outlook on life and compatability mainly relies on eastern astrology.
            But I generally find Aries moon people a bit of a handful
              "Both Taurens and Cancerians have a tendancy to go fat. Michael Moore is a stereotypical fat ugly Taurus" - hmmm.. maybe, but thats more based on a PERSONALITY/GENETIC TRAIT than anything. both our sun signs enjoy comforts (possibly food), we can be lazy homebodies usually. but i dont believe being born a cancer or taurus -makes- u fat. lol. again ascendant matters more in this area, from what i understand :P
              "But Western Astrology is mainly for peoples characteristics." -agreed (sun, moon emphasized)
              "Peoples outlook on life and compatability mainly relies on eastern astrology." -agreed (ascendant, houses, birth year emphasized)
              "But I generally find Aries moon people a bit of a handful" -agreed... i find myself too much to handle sometimes =P but my cancer sun cools down the aries moon a lot i think, as would another water sun sign, and a earth sign would stabilize it as well. my mars in scorpio doesnt help my aries moon though.... >:)))
                  The topic of genes and astrology is very debatable and a complex subject.
                  I always remember when I was younger my mum saying I looked more like my grandpa and my bro looking more like my dad and so on.
                  I always used to think it was genetic but now I'm seeing the similarities lie more in Astrology.
                  The reason my mum saw similarities in me with my grandfather and uncle is because I'm a taurus and they are both scorpio and taurus.
                  Well, you get my point.... I've gone off subject....
                  Oh speaking of my grandfather and uncle, they both have aries moon. My uncle is a very tough dude and I've seen some big guys show him respect. he doesn't act aggressive either.
                  My grandfather is not aggressive but very serious and very into the military lifestyle.
                  Thus, they are both typical Aries moons.
                  i also know that since they are Aries moons, if I was to point it out to them they would probably make fun of me and say I'm talking crap.
