Well, feeling frisky for an Aries is sort of a natural state of mind but I have been outdoing myself lately. There must be something up in the sky, perhaps of the Uranian or Martian variety (haven't had the time to check) but I am impacted.

Hi folks,

I posted here a couple months ago asking opinions on Aries-Pisces relationships. The woman I recently got involved with (pisces) dumped me last week. We were trying the long distance thing. Always a rough go, to be sure, but things seemed to be going fantastic. Then one night, on the internet no less, she tells me, "I dont want to do a long distance romance any more. Let's still be friends though." Bam, just like that. No communication since then. I've heard things about pisces secretiveness and their emotional weirdness. Now I've experienced it up close. Dont want to turn this into a relationship advice column, just looking for anyone who's had similar experiences with pisces, or words of wisdom. Signed, stunned and flabbergasted.

What's going on here? I feel like the only Aries who can't stand a Libra women for to long? This may not sit well with some people but hey.
Is there anyone out there who finds Libras boring as all hell, manipulative, fake and too judgmental?

It's creepy the way they do anything to avoid conflict. In my opinion this makes them disingenuous, hypocritical and as phony as a 3 dollar bill.

Plus what's this about them being the beautiful people of the zodiac. What a bunch of bull! Just because you like beautiful things doesn't make you physically beautiful.

Aries Sun/Cappy Moon vs. Libra Sun/Aries Moon?

... i'm a Libra Sun with an Aries Moon and a Scorpio rising. I get along with you rams rather well, as long as ya'll don't cross me, it's all good.

My big sis is an Aries Sun, but with a Cappy Moon and Virgo rising. I'm a firey gal, so is she, but my fire is emotional, and she hates how i go off all half-cocked sometimes. All my Arian qualites are emotional, plus, Mars and Mercury in Scorpio doesn't help matters. She remains cool and detached about everything, while i get passionate and fired-up about everything. Passion is my middle name, but i can't say the same about her. I'm young, and i will admit that i don't know how to "Temper" my firey nature yet. The mix of Aries and Scorpio in my personality is a deadly one, i can assure you! Are there any Aries Suns out there who might have the issues dealing with other "Firey" people in their families? Are you rams always this "laid back"? Cuz' i gotta tell you, it's kinda annoying! :)

Argumentative for the truth?

Do you find yourself being argumentative for the "truth"?

I know that in some circumstances "truth" does not exists such as in taste and preferences, but also that there is something that is bottom true beyond appearances and people's prejudices and that pretty much apply to the rest of life.
I am also speaking about people trying to push their agenda, whether consciously or unconsciously down your throat.
That really gets me going and though you may catch me once, I will give you a rough times for all your further attempts.

I am an excellent, logical debater.

I saw comments posted to that effect about Aries and I know that I am that way, and though I will not pick fights purposely I like and usually get to the bottom of things and beware if you are trying to fib me.

Anyway just curious to know what signs do you other aries seem to just draw to you. Not who you are attracted to, but who is attracted to you.
I always seem to be the center of some scorpio's world...no other sign seeks me out like a scorpio...oh and those libras. I would think that fire would attract fire but in my case it doesnt. What about you other Rams?

Aries women Clueless about capricorn male?

Hi all, I am just another blogger confused about a capricorn. Met this lovely, confusing the hell out of me guy almost a month ago through mutual freinds. We hung out on a saturday night and things moved VERY quickly. I'll spare you the hot details. LOL. Well, I woke up that sunday morning with that OOPS fator & i was suprised that I wasn't ready to run away . Although that may of been hard because he had me in his embrace/ restraint., I'm not a cuddler unless it's a boyfriend. It usually makes me very uncomfortable. He on the other hand had me feeling quite cozy. We spent half the day watching movies, well atleast he did. I can't seem to sit still for to long..lol. His friend poppd up at my door 2 pick him up and spoiled the party. I heard from my friend that my cap was avoiding his phone calls like he didn't want to leave. He gave me the wierdest goodbye I've ever had. He kissed me on my lips, cheek, fore head and eyebrow? wierd but nice. so he called me 2 say hi the next day, VERY brief but left me feeling like I made a good impression after that big OOPS factor. NOW, this is where the chase begins. I call him, no answer. He calls me, I answer. I tex , no responce...no responce.....no responce. About two weeks go by and I got the feeling that he wasn't interested. so , i texd him and told him I enjoyed his company but i'm a big girl that can take a hint and to take care. I got an immediate responce and he said, " NO NO NO baby I will see you soon." We hooked up again had a blast. Basically a repeat of the first weekend. A couple days later i texd him and no responce. A week went by and he didn't call to say hi or anything. I was trying to be patient becasue of the whole distant cap thing and that failed quickly so I texd him askin if he liked me and he replied, YES YES YES. ????????? I don't get it. I have virgo best friend and she thinks that him saying yes three times was an irritated yes and i took the other way. I don't know if it's a virgo thing but she can't step out of her box sometimes so I don't know if she's the best person to ask in this case. I feel like i'm in grade school. I got butterflies and asking my friends if he likes me. I've read all the other bloggs about these reserved, in there box capricorns. I understand , that's who they are and don't want to change it. I just want to understand how someone can blow u off and then pop up like nothing's happpend. His distance makes me feel like he is not interested. I'm not clingy. I don't expect anything from him. Just a casual hello and his company would be nice and I told him the same thing but got no responce. I would appreciate your input! Does he like me ; )????

Hey, If you were born born before april 15th and think your an aries you are in fact a pisces under sidereal astrology. I urge you fellow pisceans to heed this info and study sidereal.

Sidereal astrology works with astronomy and follows the stars, traditional astrology dosen't and therefore; is innacurate. Google it before you start posting disbeliefs. If you don't believe the sidereal zodiac then you dont agree with astronomy...which is where astrology comes from.

An Aries with an obsession with Pisces...

Is that normal? I've just started learning about astrology, and I find out, all my favorite people, even my favorite musician, are Pisces. I love them :) I just wonder why I would relate to them so well, even though.. well, they are so completely different. And a lot of things I've read say that I wouldn't, generally speaking, get along with a pisces all that well. I just love the dreamy way they all seem to look at life.

Am I a cuspian or not!?

On certain sites im listed as a pisces/aries but on some sites im just a regular aries. I was born on march 26...but mercury was in retrograde durin my birth makin me communicate like a "fish"...so wit a march 26 birthday does it make me a cuspian...and if dat doesnt make me a cuspian does my mercury in pisces mean anything...i mean when i read on the cuspian it sounds like me but it could just be self delusion...another pisces trait...can someone help me out

So because im an aries im easily excitable...but my scorpio moon and libra rising keep my emotions in check most of the time. But when I dont have the time to calm them im plainly put...a maniac. I feel like its almost a blackout stage, because i dont realize how crazy I was acting until Im reflecting on it later. But at the same time I feel like Im very fair and so when I feel slighted, i feel like i should be the hand of justice and lash out. The same scorpio moon that keeps my emotions in check sometimes, to me, adds to my aries anger. What do you other Aries do to keep emotions in check?

intensely on or not at all?

trying to understand my various parts

i've been noticing
and i feel kinda dumb for just now noticing
that i am this way with people
all on or all off
i mean i have some medium settings
and some long range settings
but for the most part if can't be all intense with a person i cut out on them. and that means receiving intensity too.

i don't have many light friends because I don’t feel like I have time for that. i don't have many friends at all and the people near me are intensely close. or, i will engage with a preson instensely for a moment then fade away for a while til im ready to engage intensely again.

what is that? is it aries?

The cosmic pressure is on. The Aries new moon March 26 and the Libra full moon April 9 are intensified by celestial forces that are obliging us to dramatically change course. Venus is Retrograde in Aries

The Saturn-Uranus Opposition Continues to Create Space for the New

The Saturn-Uranus opposition is on-going for this year and most of 2010. Their message is clear. We can't prop up the old structures. We have to build new ones. Once seemingly viable institutions are now like paper boxes soaked in the rain. They can no longer perform their function. (And in some ways they never really did. Their fatal flaws have gotten us into deep trouble.) It is time for a new box. Saturn requires us to be realistic and efficient. Uranus awakens us to bold, creative and inventive possibilities.

Pluto Goes Retrograde in Capricorn Identifies Straw Houses

Pluto in Capricorn (for 15 years) continues to intensify the pressure for evolutionary transformation. The intensity increases as Pluto goes retrograde April 4 (through September 10). The end goal of Pluto's deep probing is to awaken our higher self. To do so, we have to look at our shadow and examine root causes, not just superficial symptoms. We have to look at the assumptions of the paradigm that cause our problems, not just try to circumvent the annoyances.

Pluto in Capricorn obliges us to redefine our goals and to rebuild from the bottom up. Pluto exposes straw houses. Bailout and band aid responses aren't going to cover up (or solve!) our personal or collective structural dysfunctions. We have ignored the truth and sacrificed our integrity at the cost of our sanity and well-being. The bubble has burst. There is no turning back and no propping up the house of cards.

Change or Be Changed

In some way we have all bought into the deception and allowed ourselves to be manipulated and controlled by fantasies and illusions. (How many times did you charge something to your credit card with the thought 'The money will come from somewhere.'?) To extricate ourselves we have to listen to our own truth. By listening to our heart and following our inner wisdom, we can free ourselves from the inevitable pain and suffering that accompanies robotic adherence to the lies and manipulation of corporate greed and the denial of mass consciousness.

We are each in our own way being forced to change course. We can greet the opportunities as liberating news or we can resist. But essentially there are only two choices.
(1) Will we willing change?
(2) Or will we unwillingly be changed?
Make your choice or let it be made for you!

It Is Easier to Let Go

I remember Yogi Bhajan telling us to 'drop' our fears and neurosis. (I also remember my mother telling us kids to 'snap out of it.') Both admonishments sounded perhaps like good ideas, but impossible to achieve. The current high frequencies on the planet and the heavy-hitting impulses from the celestial interactions feel very supportive of this 'stop whining and move on' advice.

Somehow it feels like there is little energy for old trips and negativity. What once tied us up in knots is no longer relevant, interesting or important.

Check it out.
Do you feel it has become easier to let go of attachments that were once glued to your very being?
Can you walk away from old grudges that no longer exert any power over your psyche?
Do the present and the future seem to offer you an open door?
Are you more willing to try something new because you believe it will work?
Are you getting the message that what worked in the past will be ineffective and detrimental in the future?
And the special dreams that didn't work in the past are now being activated by Divine timing?

Given all of the above, the spring equinox March 20 and the Sun in Aries are important markers of a new beginning. To release the past and move on we must release the habit of self-criticism and listen to our inner voice.

II. SELF-CRITICISM and MY VOICE

A NEW BEGINNING
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We begin a new astrological year at the spring equinox, when the Sun enters Aries. If we have established a conscious connection with the Divine in our tour through Pisces, our Aries journey will be divinely guided and inspired. We will know that we are one with the Infinite and that our soul is on planet Earth for yet another adventure in evolutionary growth.

Alas, when we reincarnate, we forget our oneness with the Infinite. We relate to our personality and not to our soul. Our naïve and ego-driven inner Aries must learn once again to reconnect with our soul self and our infinite identity.

The Sun enters Aries at the vernal equinox, when daylight begins to overcome the darkness of night. Light emerges from the darkness, regains control and rises victorious. The Aries archetype represents the triumph of life over death, the resurrection of life and the power to restore life and to begin anew.

The highest expressions of Aries are
(1) soul-directed individuality,
(2) the light and purity of consciousness,
(3) clear direction for a noble cause, and
(4) the will power to rise above empty confrontation and take a leadership role to work for the truth.

OUR BIGGEST FIGHT IS WITHIN

Aries represents our Self. The goal of our inner Aries (the first fire sign) is to use our fighting spirit to support, not undermine ourselves. The Aries archetype makes us aware of the fact that our biggest fight is within.

The war we are fighting is inside our own mind. We wrestle with the raw energy of our instincts, subconscious and negative voice.

Our enemies are our inner anger, restlessness, impatience, resentment, undirected fire energy and frustrated innocence. We suffer from the painful vulnerability of an innocent child trying to live up to the expectations of an adult.

We find ourselves vanquished by needless aggression, pointless assertiveness, sabotaging impulses and inappropriate reactions. When we look at our inner conflict, we are not sure why we are so confrontational, enraged and negative. And at the end of the day we are exhausted and burnt out for no reason of merit.

SELF-CRITICISM
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Our major psychological problem is that we feel limited and inadequate. We criticize ourselves for not living up to standards of perfection. We judge ourselves for our actions, our inactions and the consequences that we experience from what we do and don't do. We play self-demeaning games
(1) to get attention,
(2) to get sympathy and
(3) because we have a negative self-concept.

Of course, we can identify circumstances and people in our lives who we can claim are responsible for our wounded programming. But identifying and blaming our real or perceived victimizers does not change the racket in our mind. (And generally reinforces our negative self-talk.)

No one outside ourselves can heal our inner turmoil or take responsibility for what we do with our energy (and our lives). Our quest is not to find and punish a villain. Our quest is to find a solution that will help us achieve inner peace.

LIMITED SELF-CONCEPT
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pogo identified that "We have met the enemy. And the enemy is us." The deeper truth is that we engage in self-criticism because our mental concept of ourselves is limited. We do not have a relationship with our infinite Self.

In our dual mind, we are unable to perceive our highest qualities and pure essence. This is because we are disconnected from our soul and the Divine. Our relationship is with our subconscious programming, not with our soul. Our authorities are other wounded personalities, not the Infinite.

Everyone has the capacity to experience their soul and the Infinite. With the assistance of Kundalini yoga,
(1) we can train ourselves to be aware of the higher vibrations that resonate in our being.
(2) We can release ourselves from the habit of self-belittlement and perceived limitations.
(3) We can deliver ourselves to self-knowing, self-respect and self-love.

ARIES TOOL KIT
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As we enter our inner battlefield, it is a good idea to take an Aries tool kit with us. Those with weak fire and fear-based programs will have to develop these tools as we progress on our journey.

* Fearlessness

Aries goes bravely where others fear to tread. Each one of us can tap into our inner courage. We build fearlessness as we confront our paper tigers along the way. Folks, we are confronting thoughts, not reality! Embrace your discomfort zone. It is not as painful as your critical mind speculates.

* Honesty and Truth

Aries requires honesty and the truth. The Ram does not like deceit. It needs communication to be straight forward, clear, obvious and logical. Aries brings clarity and openness to the table.

* Lover of Freedom

Our inner Aries loves freedom and wants to be its own boss. The Ram strives for independence of will. To claim our will we must
(1) focus our attention on our energetic being,
(2) learn to be energetically self-contained, and
(3) listen to our inner wisdom.

SOLUTIONS - NEUTRAL MIND AND LISTENING

* Awaken Our Neutral Mind

Our relationship with ourself is determined by our mental attitude and structure and by the strength of our nervous system. Our mind has to be awake to our neutral channel to have an experience of our pure essence and Infinity. We have to have a strong nervous system to have a mind that can maintain access to the neutral channel and way of life.

* Listening Skills

To be our own boss we have to listen to the voices within that are controlling our reality. And we have to develop a relationship with these voices. We confront our critical voice by listening to it. Not by fighting, denying, negating it or trying to cover it up with positive retorts.

Our task is to listen deeply. Stop talking to yourself and LISTEN! Make your mantra LISTEN.

Underneath the chatter we hear another voice and the sound of the Infinite. They tell us that the negativity is not true. By listening to the two voices, we learn to discriminate. We tune into the wise advice of the bumper sticker - Don't believe everything you think!

A CONVERSATION WITH OURSELVES

Overcoming self-criticism requires a conversation between our neutral and negative voices. And we must be totally honest with ourselves. If we lie to ourselves, we are an open target to be manipulated by our critical voice. Our inner listening journey is an invaluable piece of our self-discovery and empowerment process.

Listening without judgment, we become aware of our self-critical emotional habits and uncover subconscious imprints.
(1) We can find out what stories and beliefs are fueling our inner critic.
(2) We can identify where we perceive threats, competition, demands, and battlefields that do not exist.
(3) We can recognize our innocence and how we can get easily and deeply hurt.

Our job is to monitor and direct the conversation within ourselves. By deeply listening, we awaken our neutral mind channel and our inner dialogue shifts. In our neutral channel we can tune into the message and the meaning hidden under our critical voice. We find out that our soul feels abandoned. Our critical voice is our soul crying out for attention. Our soul has something to tell us. It is asking us to please listen. This is why if we try to shut up our negative voice, its just gets louder.

MY VOICE - WHICH ONE?

As we hone our inner listening faculty, we begin to hear and identify the source of our different voices. Our inner critic is fueled by our subconscious. Our wise voice speaks for our soul. We can train ourselves to acknowledge our inner critic and to lovingly recognize that it is controlled by wounded programming. The secret is that we don't fight back. We neutrally and respectfully listen.

The more we listen, the more we discover a voice that has been silenced and wishes to speak.

(1) Underneath the self-judgment is another voice that loves us just the way we are.
(2) Under our negative voice, we identify our authentic needs, preferences and desires.
(3) We simply want to be loved, to give love and to feel love in our being.
(4) We discover that our inner-critic is just trying to get our attention so that we can deeply listen to the voice of our soul,
(5) so we can hear the Infinite sound that soothes our wounds and nurtures us through every trial and test.

NEUTRAL IS OUR ANCHOR

Our neutral anchor makes it possible to hold steady when our negative voice speaks. Instead of resisting, we relax and listen. We go deep into our soul, where we find peace and compassion, where we are able to embrace ourselves exactly the way we are. In this relaxed, accepting state, we can hear our truth. We can evaluate our lives and make decisions with the criteria furnished by deep knowing.

We learn to trust this voice that guides us to make more supportive and loving choices for ourselves. We reclaim our free will by getting to know, value, listen to and follow the loving voice. In doing so, we activate the fire of our inner being, which fuels our inner strength, self- confidence and self-love.

We listen until we find peace, feel the resonance and hear the sound of love.

KUNDALINI YOGA AND MEDITATION TO REBIRTH OURSELVES

Every Kundalini yoga set awakens us. After the activation of every exercise, we can deeply listen. One excellent set to practice the ideas in this lesson is The Set for State of Mind and Paranoia on pages 40-41 in Relax and Renew (available on www.yogatech.com) Between exercises, do your best to stop talking to yourself and LISTEN! Make your mantra LISTEN.

Chanting mantras delivers us to our peace channel. Mantras open the door and move us past our stories. Pranayama liberates stuck energy and awakens our mind to the deep reality of our soul.

Take your pick and train yourself to listen deeply.

The following meditation works to clear the subconscious of self-critical voices and move us into the neutral channel of our soul.

NATAL REBIRTHING MEDITATION *(1)

Sit in Eye Pose with a straight spine, arms at sides, hands up to solar plexus level, palms up. Lock index and middle fingers under the thumbs with the ring and little fingers straight, together and relaxed. The last 2 fingers are pointing towards each other about an inch from the fingers on the other hand.

Inhale and exhale through the open mouth, creating the sound

AAAAAAkkkhh

in the throat. Make deep intense sounds as you pull the sound with the breath deep from within on the AAAAA and then let it go on the KKHHH. The rhythm is fast, about 40 inhales and exhales per minute. Do for 3 minutes. 3 minutes will feel like a long time if you do it powerfully, which is the intent of the mediation.

To end inhale, lock the teeth, concentrate and hold the breath for 20 seconds and exhale. Repeat twice more and on the last breath retention, feel and circulate the breath through-out the body.

To end, simply smile, silently, for 2 minutes. Then laugh, gently for 3 minutes.

Then DEEPLY LISTEN!

COMMENTS: Do not jump up after this meditation. Sit silently and listen for at least 10 minutes. This meditation involves reducing yourself to the size of spermatozoa. It will allow you to lose a lot of garbage. As you are smiling, don't think of anything except that which will make you smile. Feel good, feel elevated, feel blissful. It will to totally recuperate your personality. Within this energy we have to heal our very selves - the sad self, the destructive self and the negative self. When laughing, it is as if you are seeing something wonderful happening and you are enjoying it. Don't get specific simply enjoy the feeling experience.

Moon in Aries

Nothing quite happens soon enough with this position of the Moon. There is an inherent impatience with getting what they want. Life is a series of emergencies for Lunar Ariens. They live in the moment and have a hard time waiting for things to happen. Whims of the moment take absolute precedence in their lives.

This is a fiery position of the moon. Even if the Sun or rising sign is more low-key, Moon in Aries people possess inner passion and fire. Emotional issues take precedence—there is simply no pussy-footing around when it comes to dealing with the feelings. And, dealing with new sentiments and needs stirs up a huge desire for activity. Moon in Aries has a need for acting out their needs, with no time to waste. It is hard for them to see the long-term, or to wait for things to happen. Instant gratification rules!

Oddly enough, this is a very defensive position of the Moon. These natives take things very personally, and they deal with problems by facing them right away so that they can then get on with other things. Their flare-ups generally end almost as quickly as they started.

Lunar Ariens have an unmistakable independent streak. They put themselves right out there in the world, and make an impression in whatever they do. Their self-confidence is actually variable. Although a strong personality is projected, Moon in Aries people go through plenty of ups and downs. Their moodiness is not like Cancer or Pisces moodiness—they don't withdraw into themselves or escape the world when they're down. Instead, they are temperamental.

Some might say that people with Moon in Aries actually enjoy trouble and confrontations. Indeed, this position is easily bored with environments that are too peaceful. Their homes—especially their childhood homes—are often battlegrounds. They rule the roost, or at least want to, and are not the most peaceful of folk to live with!

Moon in Aries men and women are prone to have plenty of crushes and other short-lived yet intense desires. "Needs" and "wants" are indistinguishable to Lunar Ariens at any given time. In their minds, what they want is so powerful that it becomes an absolute need. In young adulthood, they can be dangerous with a credit card. Whoever offered the advice to freeze your credit card in a container of water, and then let the block of ice thaw before using the card, unwittingly had people with Moon in Aries in mind. The whole idea was to see if the shopping whim of the moment would pass by the time the card was ready to use. Still, with this scenario, I wouldn't be surprised to see Moon in Aries hacking away at the ice. That is, if Aries actually takes the advice in the first place!

Others will appreciate that people with Moon in Aries rarely sulk or play any drawn-out games of manipulation. You can pretty much know what they want at any given time. They are generally ruled by their own emotional needs, and they're not always as concerned about others' needs during these "emergencies". Somehow, they have people around them scrambling to help them solve their problems. There's an aura of childlike innocence around Lunar Ariens, even when they're getting their way again, that can be charming indeed!

Mars in Scorpio

Mars in Scorpio natives love to challenge themselves to do the impossible. They throw themselves into what they decide to do with concentrated energy and awesome willpower.
These people make formidable opponents, although often quietly so. They keep their cool and their equilibrium on the surface. Below the surface may be another story, and they are unlikely to easily let you in. We are supposed to be hot heads...that is not always bad but you will find that in every astro book.
However, Aries represents the head and the head houses the human brain. Though astro does not quote Aries as being smart, I have noticed that almost every Aries that I have met is quite intelligent. I sure have the grades to prove it and so do others.

Since Aries rules the head which contains the brain, what kind of brains do we have?

I tend to have an analytical mind. Is that true of other Aries?

I've noticed a pattern. Everyone I've met so far who was born on the days of April 17-22 is totally crazy (even more so than other arians I know). I find them to be super driven, super egocentric, and even violent in many ways that they deal with life (myself included).

Any thoughts? What have your experiences been?

p.s. as I was writing this post I found this and it really made me laugh:

Which do you connect to/ out out most: Venus or Mars

I have been kicking this thought around in my head for a bit and I don't have a solid answer. - Not that there is one answer, but I'm looking for the general consensus. Supposedly men act out their Mars energy and disown their venus opting to find it in a partner. We women, passive flowers of venus that were suppose to be, do the opposite.

But for those who have a their Sun or Rising in the planet of action- Mars- would this really be true? Forget gender equality, culture, and all the other mumbo jumbo. Wouldn't a mars woman be more inclined to use that energy? Same for our co-habitators Scorpio Sun or Rising Ladies.

The funny thing is both my mars and venus are in the very passive sign of Taurus (not conjunct btw). Not known for being the most active sign as it more laissez - faire... rather actract than act. But I am not passive or sit and wait gal... in any respect.

So as I said before - General consensus.,,,

Natal Mercury in Retrograde

I was going to take this to Astronuts, but why look outside for something you can get at home( aries tribe), right?

So my question is how does Mercury Retrograde, generally, affect someone in their natal chart. The info that I've been able to find on the subject is sparse. Actually content on retrogrades all together are hard to come by, vary widely, and some make absolutely no F'ing sense! I have a bunch of them myself so I know bs when I'm reading it.

I know that it makes you internalize the planets energy. It makes you analyze actions, before taken, more than someone whose influenced by direct motion. So the expression may be a little different. Now for my question.

Just based on Mercury Retro alone and no other aspects:
Are Mercury retro people very sensative about the thoughts that they express and easily hurt? Or would it make them over confident and a little cocky? Are they slightly unusual (thinking outside the box normal box of their sign) or overthink things to the most practical hilt? I know it depends on the sign as well and one of the people I'm thinking of has a Sag Mercury...

Any experience with mercury rx people? I'm so into them right now 'cause I'm having a hell of a time finding info on them.

Do any of you encounter this...

I am told on many occasions that I over-think everything. That I need to stop that. That I need to relax.

I do tend to be type A with my personality, multi-task like a mofo, usually always busy, but internally i feel pretty mellow despite what others seem to observe. I would not say I'm high strung. I have been, but the last 4 years I've really chilled out.

I tend to disect other people, not judge just pick apart. They don't even know it, unless I tell them. Some of my close friends say I do this to much with men. Even if I do, it comes across as a bad thing when they tell me.

Why?

Why is it a bad thing?

I dunno. talking about the whole head issue with Arians again, I wonder if this is "just the way I am" and if any of you do the same thing. And I mean rather extremely because to some extent we all do this.

pouring my brain on the keyboard

Through the recent years, body hair has been a sorce of endless facination and confusion to me. Do I like it? Do I not like it? What is it's practical use. What do I like when it comes to bodyhair on females?

I've gone back an forth. There has been times with chest hair and no chest hair. Hair on my stomacke and the reproductive aerea. One time, I shaved away all bodeyhair from the neck and down. Though I did like the silky smooth feel, there certainly are its fair share of drawbacks. It didn't take long till I begun feeling like a cactus. Six hours. And my girlfriend at the time was fortunately for me a capricorn with her own exentricities, so the whole deal was kinda funny. Now later, I settled for the boner aerea only, wich was nice. But in the end, the hastle was a bit much, and the razors was costing me a fortune. If you have a steady sexual frequency and have to shave every day, it gets pretty sore and the skin gets kinda irritated. Same deal with chest and stomack hair. I noticed that I am one of those few guys left who like girls to be natural. Am I The Only One Imitating Sign's?

When I say "Imitating Sign's" I literally mean trying to impersonate a sign in order to get a specific reaction out of a person who's Sun sign I know (obviously I would have to be familiar w/ there sign in order to provoke a certain reaction / or vice versa, I could try to dissect that persons personality by way of manipulating signs). Now, this makes sense to me, but am I really goin' crazy here or has anyone else out there attempted this? I dare try it against a scorp or pisces, it seems morally wrong.....but in many ways it could free up certain people (maybe crabs) into expanding their horizons...idunno if this makes any sense whatsoever.......

Most of my signs are fixed earth and cardinal fire... with more fire (1 water 1 air ) in some retro outer planets. That being said, I'm independent to the point of it nearly being crazy, but I've learned through time not to trample on others... I just found out today that a family friend was found on the side of the road in a sleeping bag(2 days ago. Her body was identified yesterday). Her boyfriend shot her. What the fuck is wrong with people??? I don't even understand... I really have no words...

She has two sons. Neither of which have graduated yet. There father passed a long time ago. This fucker had the nerve to show up at their house after the police and look her sons in the eye and say " I had nothing to do with your mothers death". He's left them with basically no one.

Maryland still has the death penalty. I hope he doesn't get it. I hope he gets life without the possibilty of parole in solitary confinement.

Death is too easy. I want him to rot in prison with no hope. Not knowing when his sorry fucking existance will end.

A plant is in detriment when it is in the sign that is opposite the sign of its rulership. For example, the moon rules the sign of Cancer. When the Moon is in Capricorn, the sign that is opposite Cancer, we say that the Moon is in the sign of its detriment. When a planet is in detriment, it has the most difficulty expressing its energies. For example, if you are a structured and formal type of person, you would feel very uncomfortable in the house of someone who is informal and spontaneous, or, if you were a very neat person, you would feel uncomfortable in the house of someone who was very sloppy. The same concept applies to planets in the position of their detriment.

Below is a list of each planet, its position of detriment, and a description of the difficulty presented by the planet's position in detriment. Since Mercury and Venus each rule two signs, those planets will have two positions of detriment. If you use the old rulerships, this will also apply to Mars (detriment in Taurus), Saturn (detriment in Leo), and Jupiter(detriment in Gemini) as well.

Sun is in detriment in Aquarius:
The Sun being the natural ruler of Leo is related to one's sense of self, the ego, power, being recognized, and meeting ones own needs. Aquarius, on the other hand, is concerned with the benefit of humanity, it is detached, objective. The personal desires of the Sun are watered down in Aquarius. The needs of humanity are overpowering the egocentric needs and characteristic of the Sun.

Moon is in detriment in Capricorn:
The Moon is emotional, intuitive, nurturing and changeable. Capricorn is structured, stern, materialistic, concerned with achieving status and achieving ambitions. The nurturing qualities of the Moon are stifled here.

Mercury is in detriment in Sagittarius:
Mercury's intellectual capacities work best when they are used in an objective and rational way as it is when in its ruler Gemini. When Mercury is in Sagittarius, it is subjective and abstract rather than rational and objective. It is also opinionated and not very willing to accept any rational debate in order to reach the unbiased truth.

Mercury is in detriment in Pisces:
Mercury's intellectual and rational capacities are watered down when it is in the sign of Pisces. Objective thought is clouded over by feelings and emotions, making it difficult to perceive the reality of issues and ideas.

Venus is in detriment in Scorpio:
Venus is a light planet. It is social, peaceful, diplomatic, and affectionate. It has a hard time functioning in this manner in the deep, intense, secretive and potentially vindictive sign of Scorpio

Venus is in detriment in Aries:
Aries is concerned with the self. It is aggressive and seeks to conquer what it wants for itself. Venus is concerned with relationships. It is social and diplomatic, seeking fairness for everyone. These tendencies have a very difficult time working in the sign of Aries.

Mars is in detriment in Libra:
Mars is aggressive and energetic. It wants to build, conquer, and explore. Libra, on the other hand is peaceful, social, graceful, diplomatic, and seeks fairness and justice. When Mars is in Libra, there is difficulty asserting oneself.

Jupiter is in detriment in Gemini:
Jupiter is philosophical and abstract. It relates to higher knowledge , religion and philosophy. It is optimistic, jovial, generous and full of humor. Gemini is also intellectual, however it is more concerned with the dry facts. Unlike Jupiter, it is objective, unemotional, and seeks to remain detached in order to get the accurate facts.

Saturn is in detriment in Cancer:
Saturn is a cold barren planet. It relates to sternness, discipline and fear. Cancer is the opposite. It is a warm emotional sign. It is the sign of motherhood and is very nurturing and sentimental. Saturn in Cancer reduces this warm, nurturing tendency.

Uranus is in detriment in Leo:
Uranus is a sign related to humanitarian causes. It relates to the benefit of the greater whole. It is scientific and works against any type of injustice. Leo is concerned with itself. It seeks honor, appreciation, recognition and has a need to be the center of attention. It wants to be the king, the ruler. Although Leo can be a generous and loyal sign, the primary focus is normally concerned with the benefit of the self. This is not a good location for Uranus to express its detached humanitarian characteristics.

Neptune is in detriment in Virgo:
Neptune is a cloudy, diffuse, planet related to confusion and deception. Virgo is an intellectual sign which seeks to make practical use of analytical facts. Virgo seeks accurate truth while Neptune, in it's lower form tends to cloud and distort the truth.

Pluto is in detriment in Taurus:
Pluto is an intense planet. It represents the best (evolution, transformation, regeneration) and the worst (evil, decadence, crime). Taurus seeks material comfort, sensuality and relaxation. While Taurus is determined, it desires to sit back and relax, seeking to attract its desires to itself while Pluto is intense and compulsive, actively seeking out its goals and probing to the inner most depths.

Aries and the progression of the soul

So while I don't neccisarily think that we're reincarnated through each sign (well...I may be biased, I really don't want to come back as a capricorn. I like my fire too much) I do believe that as a collective species, we go through the different phases the signs represent.

If Aries the first time around represents the manifestation of abstract spiritual energy into a form, probably the first life, that through competition with other species and the struggle to survive cultivated into a better organisms...before bleeding off into Tarous and then concious intelligent thought (Gemini!) you can kind of see how the story of mankind sort of unfolds...probably many times over and over again. Each sign represents a series of strengths and weaknesses... strengths that the prior sign doesn't have, and weaknesses that the following sign avoids. The solution to being a creepy control freak scorpio is to be an open, honest and optimistic sagittarius. Solving capricorn's rigid problems and trapped in old skool type thinking is solved in Aquarius abstraction applied to logic and thinking outside da box.

Now any way... so I was thinking about this as a cycle that never ends, pisces being the fall of nature and civilization to the point where we go BACK to the primordial go and crawl out again as new variants of cells and the drama continues... and I sort of feel like that's a bit depressing. And it always paints Aries as the niave soul.

On the other hand, if the zodiac isn't a perfect circle, rather a spring shape, you're dealing with yes, a state of newness each time, but also a new playing feild, actually KEEPING the advancement that going through the cycle produced. So much less nihilistic thinking than "what is it good for any way? Everything's going to end, humans will die, and the whole process meant nothing" although such defeatism greatly reflects Pisces... but no, if we do advance to a new playing field, or keep the experiences and the wisdoms the zodiac offered, Aries would be a sign of duelity... both the infant, and the really really old soul that's been around the block a few times...and comes to the conclusion that the best approach to knowledge gained from going through the cycle...is NOT having the piscean pitfalls of apathy, depression and self undoing. Wisdom, spirituality... PLUS a healthy ego and a desire to survive at all costs.

Am I making any sense? My brain's a bit fried, I've been staring at the same painting for three days now, writing about it and shit... very exhausting. Any way so yeah...I guess my point is, rather than completely starting over as a baby, litterally or figuratively, I'd LIKE to think that there's two kinds of Aries states: the newbie, and someone that's done EVERYTHING but goes back to the basics to find truth.

The Myth of the Cusp

If you pay any attention to astrology, or even know the signs of the people in your life, you've most likely heard of someone "born on the cusp." Depending on who you ask, being born on the cusp means being born anywhere between four days and three degrees of the moment the Sun changes signs (say from Aquarius to Pisces or Libra to Scorpio). No matter where the cut off is considered to be, cusp individuals are usually told that they're bound to have characteristics of both signs and may feel as if they're "straddling" the two. But some astrologers - those who believe in the exactness of the science in particular - say that's a myth. In fact, there is a deeper explanation for people born on the cusp who feel as if they have to read two horoscopes to get a clear picture. And while this explanation is multi-fold (and even a little bit complicated - including life progressions that differ from person to person), it should come as no surprise that one major factor in experiencing what seems like a split Sun Sign has nothing to do with the Sun at all, but rather, with meddlesome Mercury, the planet of communication.
The Mercury connection Mercury, more so than any other planet, travels in close contact with the Sun. What sign and house is your mars in? What aspects does it have? They say that the ruler of the sun (like the ascendant ruler which effects the whoel chart) is very important when looking at a person's characteristics. for example, an aries sun person with a Cancer Mars would not act the same a someone with a Sagittarius mars. further more, if it were heavily aspected by a planet like Uranus that could also affect ones appearence and behavior.

I have the "bowl" chart pattern. All of my planets are located in the lower hemesphere of my chart except JUpiter which is in Virgo in the 11 th house. It is the "handle" of the bucket.

"ID Blocked"

and

"Private"

on an incoming message?

I ask because I have seen private before, and that seemed ok and would only recieve
it from one friend. Thus I knew when "private" showed up it was her.

But I got a call the other day and it said the "ID block" but I picked it up out of curiousity
and said "hi, this is (my name) and there was a breath, then a moment of silence,
then a hangup.

Why would one ID Block? call, then say nothing and hangup?

I wanted to know how many of you get road rage and how severe is it? I only ask this because I am the only one who knows how to drive in my city. I read that the moon in Aries gets people pissed off when they drive for some reason. How do you react to stupid assholes who cut you off or stop in a free-flow traffic lane or drive precisely at the speed limit or brake for pedestrians? (joking on that last one)

So at this time of year living in the NW I tend to crave a bit of sun. I love spending as much time in the sun as possible, right now I feel so off like a houseplant in the shade. I get out in the open air as much as possible, but it just isn't really cutting it and I seem to constantly in a funk. Anyone else have this problem? How do you deal with winter blahs?

I am doing a lot of self work lately and i am finding some things I don't like. I am like everyone on a constant search of self improvement. I found jealousy recently. I hate being jealous and I am irritated allowing myself this nasty little critter to hang around. I look at it andi try to rationalize around it.Unfortunately it has been showing up a lot lately. I wonder what function it has and how to use it to my emotional advantage. I wonder if it has any real use or if it is just something to be conquered.
What if any advise does anyone have to deal with this. I don't know if jealousy is an Aries trait, but I wonder if anyone has really dealt with it. I know it is a human trait.
