Here is the new event listing for The Bellydance Society & Ma'at Intl Dance Arts! Hope everyone will join in on the fun!!

We will meet at Ma'at Intl Dance Arts to make Bellydance Society Shirts for Light the Night. Please bring T-Shirt or Tank of choice, fabric paint, stamps, stencils, etc

We will meet at Ma'at to drive to Furman to walk as a team for Light the Night. Registration is from 6:00-7:00pm at Furman. OR you can just meet us at Furman.

Please go to "join a team" and find "The Bellydance Society" You can join up and collect donations through the site.
This is a great way to show our support to the millions of people fighting this disease.
We will wear our hipscarves and newly made T- Shirts. Spouses and children are more than welcome and don't have to wear hipscarves :) The walk is easy around the lake!
If you can't make it, you can still make a donation! $5 would be awesome!!

"1001 Pillow Hafla!"
At Ma'at we will have a local dancer/student Hafla (party). My students and anyone interested can come and perform in a low key, supportive atmosphere. If you would like to perform, bring a costume (or not, costume not mandatory!) and a Cd with your music. Please bring a pillow to sit on, there are no chairs in the gallery. After the performances, we will have open dancing and drumming, socializing, and refreshments. Everyone is welcome! Very family oriented! Wheelchair accessible!

Kick off the day right with Ra'eesah's Bellydance Bootcamp! For all ages & abilities!

Bellydance Yard Sale! Bring your items or browse others' items and buy or swap! Bring a blanket or table to sell!
1:00pm-4:00pm
Mahsati Janan from Asheville, NC will teach a 3 hour workshop on Layering Moves and Dance Combinations! $35 for the 3 hours!
8:00pm
"Fall for Me Habibi!" Bellydance Showcase at The Caspian Grill on Haywood Rd in Greenville (beside David's Bridal) Come watch dancers from SC, NC, & GA!
Show at 8:00pm
Dinner seating at 6:30pm

And don't forget, Kim at Kimah will have her "Howlin' at the Moon" Hafla and workshop Oct 13th!
