continuation

The first section of my "mission statement" was in the tribe description, which seemed quite natural to me, but it seems not everyone caught on.... so I'm going to continue it here.
Since I'm sure plenty of you only got the title because of previous posts, I'm going to explain it. In the PC game, Portal, you are a test subject. The tests are the levels; you are meant to get through each one by strategically placing portals which lead to one another, and taking advantage of what the portals can do with physics. The initial reward you are offered for completing these tests is cake, however throughout the game you can see many places where previous test subjects have written on the walls "the cake is a lie." This has become a bit of a meme for those that follow interweb culture. For those that have not played Portal, its a great game, but that isn't the sole reason for my tribe's name. It has equally as much to do with the common use of the phrase, which any anon would be familiar with. It is commonly used on video game boards, as well as many others. Since video games, and internet culture references are two things that will likely have a lot to do with the future of this blog, I figured I would title it appropriately.
Anyway, as anyone who read Jessica's post on my page will have gathered, I have recently begun to play World of Warcraft, which I have so far enjoyed quite a bit. This however does not eat up all of my time. I also watch a good deal of movies, spend time with friends, party, and do other such things. WoW only eats your life if you let it, but it does certainly have that potential.
I also play other video games, some of my favorites being the Battlefield franchise, as well as such things as Black & White, Resident Evil, etc. If it involves a game or a movie, I'll do my best to respond in an appropriate manner. Meaning if you bring up a deserving movie or game there could be some good conversation, hopefully involving a fair amount of posters. More people often make better conversations. On the other hand, if you bring a crap movie/game into the conversation, I will respond with the appropriate.... criticisms.
