Hello also from Seattle! Just discovered this Carnival Band tribe. Am a fan of March Fourth & presently in the beginning stages of creating a similar-but-different ensemble in Seattle--a brass band w/ a W. African percussive foundation. We're at the early stages of lining up personnel (mostly we need more horn players!) & developing a repertoire, but one day soon we hope to be ready for showtime. Would love to stay in touch w/ kindred spirits to the north & south of the state & nation-state borders that divide up our bioregion!
