Nice dream, people!

The flower was one of my favorite things this year on the playa...
After 8 years in the desert, it takes something truly marvelous like this to stop me in my tracks with wonder...

i wasn't able to make it to burningman this year, very sadly... but i asked friends who went to take lots of pictures for me so i could get a sense of the playa vicariously. when they returned, this giant flower jumped out as a beautiful highlight in so many of the photos that i could just imagine its larger-than-life tenderness and aliveness. i was told it had a life force all of its own, and i could totally feel that. So congratulations for reaching so far you touched the conciousness of someone who didn't even make it to BRC this year!! thank you.
