So, it's legal now, but the price is higher. Check the "Guys Who Dig Snarky Chicks with Absinthe" tribe for the details.

prices are too high for most 'absinthe'
and i dont wanna hear about its laborious to produce ... so what ...
i'm fed up and about to start distilling my own with a very high thujone content ... and yes, thujone does matter, a lot for some folk ... the effects are unmistakeable ...

Then why bother with absinthe, you can buy super high doses of thujone at the store, no point in wasting money and time on "absinthe" if it's not what you really want.

I have tried 2 available Absinthe brands one was with a green man on it
kind of like the pagan male deity
supposedly "lil Wayne had it in a music video"
and another with a black cat on it called Lucid
was wondering how these compare and yes they are very expensive
also the process of making them requires patience or the right tools :D

I've had Lucid, not my taste. I prefer Clandestine Blue by far. Most the Germans are too bitter. The French Verte is crisp and clean tasting, but expensive. Bohemian Absinthe Original isn't bad straight from the bottle (no water, no sugar). Well, after the first sip takes your palette and throws it down your gut. I saw the Milky Way Galaxy breathing down towards Earth that night while walking around a dimly lit campground lake (Pennsic). Pretty intense. But for refreshing socials, Clandestine blue by far beats the 20 some varieties I've tried.
