We would like to invite you to visit our retreat center on the Big Island of Hawaii, in the Puna district owned and operated by the Living For Consciousness Ministry. This is a spiritual healing/permaculture retreat center to get away from it all on the Hilo side of the Big Island. We're offering this center to individuals and group leaders for exclusive use and personalized programs relating to permaculture and other conscious spiritual practices such as yoga.

We are a short drive to the ocean, natural thermal hot springs, sauna steam caves, a black sand beach, surfing, snorkeling, tide pools, Lava Tree State Park, farmers market, hiking to Green Mountain & Green Crater Lake.

We are a secluded and private sanctuary, nestled on 43 acres of lush rain forest and on Solar Power! We are surrounded by coconut palms, papaya, banana, mango, avocado and macadamia nut trees and a vast array of colorful, fragrant flowering plants. The weather is Hawaiianesque with occasional rain showers with temperatures ranging from a perfect 65 to 85 degrees year round.

The facilities include: an expansive 3,600 square foot meeting area/yoga studio with with outdoor kitchen and bungalows that can be rented on a daily or weekly basis.

We are 45 minutes from Hilo Airport, and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, home of Kilauea, an active volcano that continues to add new land to the Big Island.

Mostly undeveloped and untouristed, the Big Island of Hawaii still retains the rich atmosphere of old Hawaii. We are near the ocean, yet in a remote area. We highly recommend that you rent a car.
