2nd current breakthru

last week, i made a water hoop. it is awesome, so slow and groove-y.
the breakthru is, i think this hoop will finally help me enjoy 2nd current enough to do it regularly.

anyone with me on this?

    use it to understand you second current....but try not to become dependant on it....after a while you'll be ready to break from first to second, and vice-versa, and you can't do quick breaks ( or smack-breaks...that's what I call em)....you gotta slow stop, then slow start your breaks with water hoops.....the wave that backsplashes drops the hoop to the ground like a rock!!!

    That's a good idea! What helped me most with my counter current was designating an awesome song that I would only hoop to using my counter current. No cheating allowed ;] Often I would find by the end of the song I had harnessed a completely different portion of my flow due to the awkwardness...which would then make me continue onward...
