last week, i made a water hoop. it is awesome, so slow and groove-y.
the breakthru is, i think this hoop will finally help me enjoy 2nd current enough to do it regularly.
anyone with me on this?

Mon, July 20, 2009 - 9:27 AMuse it to understand you second current....but try not to become dependant on it....after a while you'll be ready to break from first to second, and vice-versa, and you can't do quick breaks ( or smack-breaks...that's what I call em)....you gotta slow stop, then slow start your breaks with water hoops.....the wave that backsplashes drops the hoop to the ground like a rock!!!

Mon, July 20, 2009 - 2:37 PMThat's a good idea! What helped me most with my counter current was designating an awesome song that I would only hoop to using my counter current. No cheating allowed ;] Often I would find by the end of the song I had harnessed a completely different portion of my flow due to the awkwardness...which would then make me continue onward...
