On my way out to Beth's house on Saturday night, a singer named Inga Swearingen performed on Prairie Home Companion on NPR. She shared a song she wrote called "Two Trees." The first lines were:
"There are two trees
Reminding me
That I am home once again."
Wow!! Amazing.

It really did feel like coming home, even though I had never been to Carrboro before. Many people over the weekend said that they felt that, too. It was so familiar...like a long, slow, healing EXHALE.
