Amanda, thank you so much. I"m just seeing this now and it really means a lot to me. I had so much support and love from my mentors and from the community of HoopPathers here in Carrboro. In particular, Baxter and Ann gave me their blessing and encouragement and I felt I was carrying the torch for them. I felt incredibly honored to be trusted with that task.

My journey to Japan was beautiful and healing and meaningful beyond my wildest expectations and I thank you for being part of that. Returning to the place that held my heart and challenged my spirit was something which I both looked forward to and for which felt some apprehension. And of course, it was simply wonderful beyond belief. I really have to thank the Japanese hooping community for hosting me and making me feel so welcome.

I hope that you will visit us here and know that you will most likely have a number of people vying to host you. The dance barn is available when your Path brings you our way.
