Thelema Lodge Web Site Updated

I have taken over the Thelema Lodge Web Site.

I just spent two days completely re-constructing the whole Web Site. I even uploaded a number of current photos (much more to come).

A Video and Audio Library is being readied. A lot of material from the Rosslyn Archives and Thelema Lodge archives are being put together for the enjoyment of all.

First offers for classess/meetings of Reiki group at Thelema Lodge

I have put out an Offer to moderate the east bay area Reiki Healing circle group.

what is proposed to the Reiki group is this:

A 700 sq ft space in Hayward (Heart of the Bay) for meetings, practices & discussions. Possible access to a Hermetic Temple (also 700 sq ft). This space is centrally located in the downtown area of Hayward with easy access from either BART or freeway (580 or 880). Downtown shops include a great health food store, Starbucks, Buffalo Bills Brewery, Chiefs experience - Chinese, two dance studio's, and much, much more.

I personally am in the role of a communications officer with a local free-masonic style fraternity.

This new site will be similar to a B&N albeit smaller with a focus on esoteric knowledge that includes a 3000 book library, active meeting room and practice sessions. There will be a small dues/fees charge of $20 for access to this space and the library. I am hoping to bring in a Cappuccino machine for everyone's use as well and as part of the access.

The tribe group would stay in contact mostly online (here) as well as meet on accepted dates at the physical location.

A co-mingling of Reiki focused individuals would be a part of this group with Certified Reiki masters offering classes as their schedule permits. There would be a 10% fee charged to the Reiki Masters for any classes held at the site in Hayward.

All fees/dues would go to the Lodge.

We are proud to announce that the permanent space for Horus Temple has been fully prepared and setup as of 1:11 am pst - 02/03/08

With a great deal of thought, hard labor and tenacity to succeed Soror Rose, FraterLSD, & Frater Luciftias Peripsol prepared the Temple.

“Heart of the Bay”

This month we will be holding a special Gnostic Mass, as we have now moved in to a 24/7 Permanent Lodge space. Come celebrate with us the welcoming in of two new candidates for Baptism in the Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica on Sunday, February 3rd, at 4 p.m., with doors closing at 4:18 p.m. and the first Gnostic Mass at the Permanent Lodge space in Hayward at 5pm.

You are welcome to come participate in this moving ceremony, support the candidates on their special day of dedication, and meet the diverse Bay Area community.

Events are free of charge to O.T.O. members. Donations are always welcome. All funds received go to continue the work of the O.T.O. in the “Heart of the Bay”.

With our temple located in the heart of Hayward’s Downtown area, most of our events are held in and around the city. We hold a weekly Gnostic Mass in our beautiful HORUS Temple every Sunday at 5pm. The public is welcome to attend.

Our lodge facilities are conveniently located near the Downtown area of Hayward (known as “The Heart of the Bay”), just blocks from the Hayward BART station, with numerous restaurants, designer bear bars, book stores, antique shops, safe public transportation all around and a private parking lot right next to the Lodge for drivers.

Also available for your perusing pleasure: The Thelema Lodge Library with approximately 3000 books to view.

Explore the historic roots of the O.T.O in this upcoming class by Deputy Master Jeffrey Sommer, to be held at the Rose Library on Friday, December 7th at 6p.m.

Brother Jeffrey will discuss the Brotherhood of Light, Memphis-Mizraim, and the influence of the Seveners sect on what was to become the Ordo Templi Orientis.

Then, we will look at how it developed for the last thirty years, and where it is likely to go in the future, with emphasis on the impact of the O.T.O. in the building of the Kingdom of Ra Hoor Khuit in the Aeon of Horus!
