Every year 320,000 Americans are diagnosed as having colon/rectal cancer, and of these 54% die as a result of this disease. Colon cancer is the second leading cancer in the United States, followed by lung cancer in men and breast cancer in women. There are 400,000 colostomies performed each year that involve the partial or total removal of the large intestine (colon). THE DIGESTION PROCESS
Most people are under the assumption because they have 2-3 bowel movements a day that they are not constipated. This for the majority is incorrect; they are just eliminating new foods that they have eaten in the last few days. However, they are actually impacted, which means mucoid plaque and old waste is trapped in the colon and can’t possibly be eliminated with their regular bowel movements. In turn, this old feces will decay in the intestines year after year, which starts to putrefy and this is when parasites and disease starts to destroy your immune system and then your health.
Without regular elimination, the passage of waste material becomes too sluggish. The colon loses its natural ability to function properly. The feces gets trapped or lodged in the pockets of the colon, therefore, dehydration or drying out of the stool occurs.
