transit workers union #234 and SEPTA have yet to reach an agreement about further contracts. if they don't, the union will go on strike, leaving all subways and most inner-city bus routes non-operational. the trains will still be fully operational.
i'm sad, because one of my favorite decom memories from last year was taking the el home in full zombie makeup. :)
