Oooh, it's almost Friday! I'm really excited to have Skip coming to play for the evening, and I hope you're all staying in town too, ready to work off that Thanksgiving dinner... just so you don't have to feel guilty about the cake you're going to eat! In keeping with tradition, it's going to be a tasty carrot cake again - mmm! It's going to be a great night - I guarantee it!
Hope to see you all there, and here's the details:
The Pleasure Principle is celebrating its 2 year anniversary on Friday, November 28th and we want you to come join us in the festivities! We're excited to have Pleasure Principle first-time-guest DJ Skip (New Wave City, SOMETHING, Temptation) joining DJ Prince Charming to celebrate 2 years of the very best New Wave and Synthpop from the late 70's through 80's. Beyond the classic favorites like Depeche Mode and New Order, you'll be dancing to the underplayed heroes of the era like Ultravox, XTC, Soft Cell, Big Country, Heaven 17, Visage, and so much more as we dig deep in our record collections. You're bound to hear the songs you love and walk away with some new or forgotten favorites too. Best of all, there's NO cover charge, and you'll even get tasty birthday cake to keep you from dancing off all those Thanksgiving calories! Don't be a turkey - come on down and treat your feet to a great night of dancing!
If you missed out last month or just want to come back for seconds, you can always a prior set list and listen to the whole night's recording at www.clubpleasureprinciple.net or join the tribe (see below) for every night's recording. See you there!

Sun, November 30, 2008 - 9:40 AMHey, Lisa, I must have just missed you! We left right as Dan was getting ready to bring out the cake.
Beautiful cake, Dan! Glad you took a picture! And thanks for the awesome tunes for us to jam too while we played poker. :D
