  It's not lies, lies, lies (yeah - they're gonna get you), we are indeed moving to 4th Fridays. I couldn't access tribe for a long time, and I've been unsuccessful in posting the event all weekend. Today, it seems to have stuck, though!

    Speaking of new wave samples, THIS sample makes me sad. The original is so great, and this song does not improve upon it. The gunfire and cash register bug me.

      Ohhh yeah. I thought that one was actually pretty clever and interesting as a song on its own upon initial listening, but it certainly is not an improvement on the original. After repeated listening it's moved into the 'annoying' territory for me too.
      
      I was thinking about how much I like that Coldplay song, "Talk," that leans on the Kraftwerk riff: www.youtube.com/watch - I don't even really like Coldplay, but I like that one
