We were in love with love last Friday! There wasn't a massive crowd, but everyone who came had a blast, and we had to kick dancers out at 2am when Catalyst turned up the lights. Just like last year when I did this theme, I felt like the list of songs that I wanted to play was about 10 times longer than the list of songs I actually got to play! Much thanks for Tomas Diablo for joining us to share his views and tunes on love, everyone for coming out to celebrate, and a special thanks to all the contributors to the fundraiser - every drink you bought helped contribute to Funds for Feathers! We earned almost 100 dollars that night, and it will continue for the next few months too. My personal favorite song of the evening was Madness's "It Must Be Love" - I completely forgot about that one!

There was an ongoing discussion I stirred up about how some 'love' songs I think are just about drugs. I think Tomas played what I consider to be the perfect back-to-back drug-love song duo: "Perfect Kiss" and "Lips Like Sugar!" Discuss!
