Since May 2006, Rock This Town has brought together San Francisco’s Goth and New Wave DJs and given them the chance to play anything and everything that they wouldn’t be allowed to play at their usual gigs. The roster of DJs is staggering. Their song choices – brilliant.
Even the schedule was designed to facilitate creativity and fun. Starting at 9PM, each DJ plays 1 40-minute set. At 11PM, they switch to 20-minute sets. The final hour is a three-way tag-team.
Please join us for 1 final installment of one of San Francisco’s most original and liberating events. Last call!

Re: Prince Charming at the FINAL Rock This Town!
Mon, April 13, 2009 - 8:25 AMWho are these DJs?
Tomas Diablo is the founder and resident DJ of Strangelove, Danse Macabre, and Rock This Town. At each and every one of the 30 Rock This Town events, he has played artists that hadn’t been played previously.
DJ Skip is co-founder and resident DJ of New Wave City, the first and foremost 80s dance party. He also has a taste for new indie, which he plays at Temptation. Skip was also a guest DJ at the very first Rock This Town.
DJ Prince Charming is part of a new generation of new wave fans – he is younger than most of the music he plays. He is the founder and resident DJ of The Pleasure Principle, an event dedicated to presenting lesser-known new wave that normally doesn’t get played at 80s events. He has been a guest DJ at 6 Rock This Towns, more than any other DJ. In May, The Pleasure Principle will be moving to 3rd Fridays at Julie’s Supper Club.
