It is about time to get a bank account going for this project. We need some good fundraising ideas. There is always the art auction, vegan bake sale, and amanda has offered to do some massages. maybe all these things at one event. Any other ideas? Anyone have art to contribute?

but also, this coud go in with the massages, it could be like a service sort of auction. like a silent auction on a massage session, and i can donate gong-baths, and there could be art and whatever people will donate up for auction, including healing svcs., a photo-shoot, or whatever
maybe, too, having a restaurant on board, like scallywagles in Arlington, say they will give up x% of proceeds for a specified day/night. I know they really want publicity, and they would get that in return.

Sat, April 21, 2007 - 5:58 PMMeena, I don't travel without a dumbek and riq in the trunk and I could bring my kushtar, too. I could round up whatever drummers there might be and lead them though a couple rhythms if you'd like. Let me know if there are any specific progressions you would like.
