Bat Country Flag '08
We will fight under this flag proud Bats
See the Flag larger here: www.reesedesignworks.com/batco...g.html This flag combines the symbolism of the original American flag the "Gadsden flag" with the Gonzo symbol of Hunter S Thompson. The Gadsen flag was created by Ben Franklin. Franlin said of the flag's symbol the Rattlesnake: "She never begins an attack, nor, when once engaged, ever surrenders: She is therefore an emblem of magnanimity and true courage. ... she never wounds 'till she has generously given notice, even to her enemy, and cautioned him against the danger of treading on her." America has fallen far short of these ideals unfortunately but they will be remembered by Bat Country on the Playa this year. The Flag will fly at least 20 ft high through the center of the carousel bar and and will be spotlight at night.
