Tibetan Ayurveda & Marijuana

topic posted Thu, May 8, 2008 - 1:08 AM by  Unsubscribed
I have a patient who has an addiction to marijuana. He is determine to cut back his addiction and wishes to supplement his habit
by improving his health. By not smoking, he is finding it hard to sleep and needs support.
Without going into his personal case, what can tibetan ayurvedic medicine offer my patient?

Does anyone have any suggestions from their own experience on what kinds of protocols I can begin to use.
I feel tibetan ayurveda holds the key...

I am a naturopath, specialising in western herbal medicine and energy medicine. My knowledge of tibetan ayurveda is therefore
fairly basic and can only grow.

May we continue to learn and heal.

Agar-35 is well known in Tibetan medicine as a sleep aid.

The fact that cannabis is sweet and astringent, decreases badkan and increases mkhrispa may offer clues to what sort of balance needs to be re-established

      Hello Ryan,

Thank you kindly for the advice.
I will track Agar-35 from an ayuverdic supplier and look into the case further.
