The Green Hip Scarf Club needs YOUR ideas!

Belly dance may be an ancient art form, but Bodyworks by Chandani is keeping up with our ever-evolving times! As part of our embrace of the environmental movement, the Green Hip Scarf Club is up and running! From our new recycle bins at the studio to our CD/techno recycling program, we are doing our best to lighten our footprints and do our part for the earth. Designed to encourage belly dancers to become more active in keeping Hampton Roads clean, we are currently working on projects such as the Adopt-A-Program, Clean the Bay Day, Earth Day, the Artful Costume Auction, and promoting environmental awareness.

As we strive toward a greener lifestyle, your opinions, suggestions, and contributions as dancers are invaluable to our success. Please stay tuned for more information on upcoming meetings, events, and ways to get involved. No idea or green deed is too small to be appreciated! Join us on our Yahoo group at: groups.yahoo.com/group/greenhipscarf

Coming soon: GHSC Lecture Series covering issues facing our planet and what we can do to help

Help us keep the Green Hip Scarf Club sustainable! We need to renew our energy and breathe new life into our work. Please join us! For more information, visit www.chandani.net and click on "Going Green." Let's make other local businesses green with envy!
