I have always been facinated by glass dancing. You did by far the best one I have seen. At what point do you consider a dancer ready for it, how is it done (generally) and what type of glasses do you use?

Thank you Kaitlyn :) The most important aspects of waterglass dancing are internal balance, strong feet/ankles and strong water glasses! The most common glasses I have seen used are ones without a stem, but the one's I use are goblets with a stem...for a bit more height, since 6 feet isn't always enough!

Mine have always had a stem, but a short, blocky one. Best are called "hobnail goblets"--those things can withstand anything. Often Czech made, so may be harder to find in the US, but have a thick stem and a thick base so VERY hard to break. And yes, the dance is phenomenal, Tiffany!!!
