WE BELIEVE EVERY HUMAN BEING IS ENTITLED TO THE RIGHT TO ENJOY TOBACCO and other plants. We also believe that these plants should not be polluted with unnecessary chemicals or gene changes. The tobacco industry wants you to input more chemicals into your body. We loudly tell them to go fvck themselves, and then turn around and tell the same to the 99% of the food industry who diligently provide colorings, preservatives, and terrifying oil derivatives for our daily consumption. Once finished with the above, we immediately go smoke some arThou.

arThou phine smokabLes is a Burning Man theme camp. We specialize in serving high-potency natural tobacco to the burner community. We basically roll you a cigarette on the spot, if you can prove you don't MOOP. We also educate and advise tobacco users on ways to switch from commercial cigarettes to roll-it-yourself phine tobacco solutions.

The first year on the playa will be 2008 (in 2006 we operated unannounced, and in 2007 we fucked up and couldn't make it to the playa). In the meantime, we provide the enjoyment of our phine smokables for the burner events in New York, New England, Philadelphia, and wherever else we happen to arThou randomly at 3am.

BENEFITS of fresh-rolled cigarettes over commercial ones:
1. You control the quality of tobacco
2. Better taste (assuming you used good tobacco)
3. Cheaper (though it depends on the relative costs of commercial cigs and tobacco in your area)
4. Arguably healthier (hehe)

DRAWBACKS:
1. Cig gets stale quickly (because tobacco is very gentle and dries fast)
2. More maintenance (you have to roll each cig by hand... this is kind of a drag... but if you are trying to cut down on your tobacco use, this is perfect for you.)
