Had another guy tell me today that he will not date because I smoke.
So why did he answer my personal ad which clearly revealed all my flaws?
So, for me in this life it is clear that I get to choose. A husband or a smoking habit. Which will it be? It could go either way at this point.

Re: FUCK
Mon, October 15, 2007 - 5:49 PMwell maybe you can get some tobacco and work with that smoke to send your prayers for a husband that will tolerate, maybe even partake in your tobacco habit. -

Re: FUCK
Mon, October 15, 2007 - 11:52 PMmaybe he just wanted to shag you then leave. if it wasn't the tobacco, he probably would have complained about the dog.
this is a men issue, not a tobacco issue.
men are pricks, but tobacco is anything you want it to be.

Re: FUCK
Wed, November 7, 2007 - 3:53 PMi think this is the thing with tobacco people view it as the one who abuses others... but really people abuse it, tobacco is a very sacred plant and if you have a relationship with it that is one of respect then noone is being abused. -

Re: FUCK
Sun, November 25, 2007 - 9:22 AMwhen i say "abuse" i mean smoking it for the soul purpose of addiction to it. a habitual thing to do to fix your monkey, not to get to a higher place. i rarely have seen anyone freak out because they cant commune with spirit, but i have seen some bad nic fits.i quit smoking cigs by praying first then i couldnt smoke then when i got back on the habit i didnt do that. do as you will with the plant but i feel that the abuse of the sacred will come back in negative manifestation such as oh cancer? -

the whole world is freaking out because they cant commune with spirit...
and personaly as an animist i dont have any distinction between something thats sacred and something thats not... the whole sacred and profane dycotomy is something for people of traditions that see prfanity where i see sacredness... so dont profane or sanctify what i just call life...
im going to go smudge my lungs now...

Re: FUCK
Sun, December 9, 2007 - 7:39 AMWell, gorma cu, it really depends on what kind of tobacco. If someone smokes camels or kkk cigs(aka marlboros) then I would much rather kiss someone who just burned a joint or hit a bong. There is no contest. That stuff is nasty!
If someone smokes natural tobacco then I have no problem blessing my tounge with the sweet taste of the inside of their mouth. -

Re: FUCK
Tue, December 18, 2007 - 9:47 AMYes, it does seem that the chemical free cigarettes are easier for others to tolerate both in smell and second-hand taste. :) (Off to "smudge my lungs", haaa I love that) -

Re: FUCK
Sat, December 22, 2007 - 5:04 AMA friend turned me on to 100% untreated rolling tobacco a few years ago. I can't claim that smoking it instead of the treated tobaccos improves the taste or smell of me but it is easier on the organism. I've been rolling my own since I started smoking. The few years I actually did buy and smoke filter cigs were a huge mistake and whenever I go over a few cigs a day, it's too much. This brings us back to the ceremonial version; if I make a ceremony out of it, the smoking experience is much better. A little bit will go a long way! And if someone doesn't like the smell of tobacco on my breath, well, then that someone is standing much too close to me....like in an elevator e.g. ? Now for something most people won't understand ; I don't smoke in my own house. I take it outside. It's currently 6 below zero (Celcius) and I still won't smoke indoors. The reasoning behind this is simple. I myself, as a smoker, can't stand the smell of tobacco smoke lingering on in the house. One down side of that is that when I go out for a smoke and then come back in to join the non-smokers on the couch or whatever, I reak of smoke. Yucko. Well, kind of yucko. When people complain, I usually politely ask them to simply close their noses. Much worse is when people bathe in trashy perfume. Now THAT can be very annoying. -
