The Camps the Org didn't DARE place! --------- This Tribe is for camps not placed for Burning Man 2009 & their supporters, to coordinate an Alternative WWW and other points of interest. Members of both placed and unplaced camps are welcomed to join, submissions only from unplaced camps though (and this can include camps who chose not to register). We need all the help we can get so we can give the most we can despite the pitfalls the Org has last minute placed in our path. SHOW YOUR SUPPORT & JOIN US!

The way the alternative What Where When will work is this:

Theme camps who were denied placement or who chose not to register may submit entries online via this Tribe or via email at alt.www.bm09@gmail.com. Independent events are also welcomed, as long as they are not in the official WWW (this is will be verified on-Playa). These entries should be similar to the existing entries you would have submitted already to the Events Calendar and Theme Camp Register, taking into account the changes your camp may need to have made due to the constraints of not having early entry. These entries must reach us no later than August 26th so we can work on the layout before heading to the playa.

Once you reach the playa and set up your camp after Land Grab on Monday, post your camp location using the same camp name submitted to us, at Playa Info , and/or at the Black Rock Beacon @ 5.30 and Evolution at 5:30 (or Rathskellar, if you know where to find us - we don't yet!), NO LATER than 6PM MONDAY 31st AUGUST. We will then collate the information and get it into the alt-www which will be pretty much ready to roll to the presses after the first Black Rock Beacon is printed Monday night.
