Re: To the Earth hits the road - for a workshop!
Sun, November 11, 2007 - 12:52 PMHey everybody,
Registration's still open -- Va Beach isn't too far away! The venue is actually right on the Norfolk/Va Beach border and we would love to welcome Richmond dancers to our area.
Please let me (the sponsor) know if you have any questions!

Re: To the Earth hits the road - for a workshop!
Fri, November 16, 2007 - 11:10 AMI extended the earlybird deadline a few more days, so it's still $45 to sign up (if anyone was on the fence!) This is going to be awesome. I don't believe ATS is taught anywhere in Hampton Roads.
See my website for more info (scroll down on home page, click on more info).

Mon, December 3, 2007 - 5:12 PMIs this just for dancers or are drummers welcome to? -

Re: To the Earth hits the road - for a workshop!
Tue, December 4, 2007 - 3:10 AMIf you wanted to drum, i promise you would be painfully bored.
If you wanted to dance, more power to you... go to it.
If you just wanted to watch... probably not. -

Re: To the Earth hits the road - for a workshop!
Tue, December 4, 2007 - 12:45 PMHmm, interesting question. I take green money from whoever. :) As Russell said, no observers are allowed. I would have to check w/ TTE to see if they mind a drummer drumming while they work. I'll re-post the answer.

Re: To the Earth hits the road - for a workshop!
Tue, December 4, 2007 - 1:24 PMIt's not a drumming workshop. But! If drummers are interested in learning ATS steps and cues even just from the perspective of how they fit with music (so you don't dance so much), we totally welcome y'all!
There are parts of the workshop where an experienced drummer could be handy, but others where we'd need quiet. Like Buttercup said, drumming for dance class is rather boring. :)
