Here is a poem I wrote about 2 years ago. Shortly after I had a breakdown and that is when my awakening began. I look at this poem now... and Im amazed at the message that came through to help me grow. Love and light, Colleen


~The Void Within Self Reflection~

This long state of disassociation
with all around me but the precious few.
It is a dwindling state of social interaction
that I find myself in the middle of.
Not even sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing or
if there is such a choice for something like this.
The fear is guiding and inviting me with the lulling of hibernation.
Fear of failure
Fear of heartache
Fear of loss
Fear of loneliness
Fear of pain
Fear of ambivalence.
Again, I remind myself of this state of void, electrified.
So aware, yet unfortunately removed from it.


Everything seems like an Illusion.
When the bubble blocking true experience,
the one putting me on hold-
air tight, breathless
witness to the world as it explodes with perpetual pulchritude
becoming all that I love and all that I loathe.
Here I am world.
On pause afraid to go with the energy flow
of the earth and the universe deep within me.
Here I am world.
Ready and afraid, openly hiding in front of you
curled up in the position of my birth.
Here I am world.
Awaken me...
