I wonder....

We should do a study. Because I'm accustomed to a heavy dance scene I'm not sure what mainstream dance-y-ness actually is. I'm used to a fairly even gender split, but then I've almost exclusively known dancers. I don't think movies about junior high school proms count, so I really have no idea how dancing is supposed to work out in the real world.

I used to dance really phenomenally well before I had a bad accident and got knocked off my groove for too long. Now I feel drunk and off balance (hence I probably look drunk and off balance) so I don't do it as much anymore. The people I pretend are my friends seem to think I'm still pretty great... but then, none of them knew me before either so it doesn't count. Of course, I've made kind of a point not to dance in front of people who knew me as a dancer. I'd just embarrass myself.
