Being at a state park, I imagine there are all sorts of rules of what "can" and "can't" be done... and I think this is a campsite too, yes? What's the general thought.. drumming, camping, can-do's and can't-do's? Is there going to be any official-like "organization", or is the idea that a whole bunch of folks just show up at this park and have a good time (e.g. completely organic and/but unorganized)?
Any details worked out yet?
PS Ithica is *BEAUTIFUL*.. nice to see something happening around that area!

Re: State Park Rules
Tue, November 13, 2007 - 2:21 AMAll good questions Rob... I'll do my best to answer them all.
Yes, it's a State Park, and yes there are obviously rules to be followed. It is a "Carry In, Carry Out" facility, with many campsites available for people who want to stay directly on site. All the camping and regulation information will be covered in detail once the TMG website is fully launched in January. In the meantime, you can look at the State Park info here:

The festival will definitely be "organized", with various workshops throughout the day available for registered attendees, and formal concert performances held each evening. Once again, this information will be covered in detail on the website in January. Until then, each week one entertainer or workshop presenter will be featured on the TMG "Bulletin Board", which will be updated every Sunday throughout the months of November and December.
