About the instructors:
Susan has been bellydancing since age 5. She is a 2nd generation teacher, coach, performer, competition judge and event sponser for Alexander Greek cuisine first Saturday of each month in Roseburg, Oregon. She has a fun teaching technique with shimmies and drum solos. Her workshop will also have a warm up and cool down along with handouts to take home. Dancers will sweat their butts off. Taught to paradise city by Guns-n-Roses
Leslie's imagination was captured by bellydance in 1995 and she hasn't been able to escape yet! She creates a warm, fun, community environment that is a wonderful blend of both the silly and sacred. Her lifelong passion for the circus led her to fire performance in 2001. She was honored with the opportunity to perform for the cast of Cirque du Soleil at the end of the tour party for Vareki summer of 2005.
Get the how-tos for some of the most popular and impressive Egyptian style hip movements from multi-award-winning dancer, Dahlia. Utilizing both modern and folkloric styling, she'll start with the basics then burn her way through advanced techniques. Have you ever wondered what the Jewel is? Or the difference between the Ghawazee and Hagalla 3/4 shimmies? Get them all securely fastened under your belt in this highly valuable workshop for all belly dance styles!
Luminessah's signature slow, medium, and fast original combinations integrating movements from East Indian, Egyptian, funk, and hip hop with tribal style belly dancing.
Previous tribal dance experience not necessary, although tribal cues will be included.
UNMATA's high-energy brand of dance has packed the house and electrified audiences at venues of all sizes. Whether using fire, swords, or just the sweat off their own bodies, UNMATA always satisfies! Need we say more?
Smoldering tribal improv! Combos and techniques for those sexy squishy medium tempo songs! Learn Tribalation! favorites like T&A and the sexy serve n' sway. All levels, but some previous improvisational tribal style dance exposure is recommended.
Bitchin’ Bellies with Zephyr. Come feel the burn! Bitchin' Bellies will rock your entire body with tight isolation exercises, complicated patterns, and dizzying shimmy overlays. Recommended for intermediate and advanced students, but beginners also benefit from this hardcore workout.
