Hello, im a fusion bellydancer, but i really want to learn ATS, i haven't find a teacher near to where i live, (sooz is about 2 hrs away, maybe i'll try with her) and i only had the opportunity to take a 2 hr workshop with carolena about followin and drilling, but it was very difficult since i dont know the vocabulary... im planning to attend tribal pura 2009 in cuernavaca, morelos, Mexico... but i have never had formal ats instruction (besides what i mentioned above), so, i wonder if that would be a problem, also, i want to know, what i be able to do when i accomplish this workshop... i haven't found a site that explains the class format... if there is one maybe the link would help me... thanks so much!!!

Thats what I did.
That way you have the vocabulary and the knowledge when you attend Pura. -

Tribal Pura workshops cover a variety of different aspects of performing ATS. The workshop sponsor chooses from a list of topics that we offer. There is always a class on basic technique and usually a class on leading and following and then a couple of specialty classes. Since this will only be our second workshop in Cuernavaca you don't have to worry about the whole workshop being too advanced. Practicing with the DVDs until then will definitely make the workshops easier for you to follow.

It is much closer to me, and the expenses would be much less... I hope to have the opportunity to take classes with you in a future!! Thanks again!!! best wishes!
